Rove Adds Aeroplan
In March 2026, Rove added its fourteenth and fifteenth transfer partners. Then, Rove added two more partners in April: Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Red. These were all really nice additions for Rove and added value to the “universal airline mile.” As of May 7, 2026, Rove adds Aeroplan. What Are Rove Miles?
If you haven't heard of Rove, and/or don't have an account, have no fear. Read all about the “first universal airline mile” HERE. If you don't have an account (it's free!) you can sign up HERE and get 1,500 transferrable points for merely signing up.
Rove is a shopping portal in theory, but it's much more in practice. You can use it like a traditional shopping portal (think Rakuten), but there is a lot more to it. You can also book loyalty-eligible hotels and earn hotel elite-qualifying nights, points for the cash cost AND earn Rove Miles for booking via its portal. A word of caution: 1) for loyalty-eligible stays you can often get better deals via a traditional travel agent, at least at luxury properties (email [email protected] if we can assist), and 2) if you are booking non-elite-qualifying stays, the hotel booking is merely via an online travel agency (OTA) and should be avoided in almost all instances.
Rove's 18th Transfer Partner
As mentioned previously, Rove bills itself as the “universal airline mile.” That is, at least in part, because Rove is a transferable currency with transfer partners. You can see all 18 partners on our ToP Transfer Tool, and we will also list them below. All partners are at 1-to-1 transfer ratios, unless listed differently:

As of May 7, 2026, Rove adds Air Canada Aeroplan as its eighteenth (18th) transfer partner, with a rate of 1-to-1. While these loyalty programs have lots of transferable partners already, more options are always better.
Transfer Bonus At Launch
To celebrate adding Air Canada Aeroplan, there is a 25% transfer bonus through June 6, 2026. This increases the 1-to-1 transfer ratio up to 1-to-1.25. This is a fantastic bonus to one of ToP's favorite programs.
Rove Adds Aeroplan: ToP Thoughts
Anytime we get a new transfer partner, it is a good thing. Even if we never take advantage of it, more options are always better. If you think you've heard these words before, it is true. We write this exact same thing, or something very close, every time a new transfer partner gets added to the mix! More options are always better! Most (or all) of you are likely familiar with the Aeroplan program, and it is one of the best programs out there. This is an exciting and valuable addition for Rove, and we are excited to see what happens next.
