The Chase Sapphire Preferred is the card that get most people into miles and points. It often tops our best card offer list, and it offers maximum value for an affordable annual fee. You know what is better than all of that? When it has an increased offer! How does a 100K Chase Sapphire Preferred offer sound? I know it sounds better than the current public offer – that is for sure. The problem is that this one is a highly targeted offer though. Let's dive in! Details On The 100K CSP Offer

In the past these targeted Chase Sapphire Preferred offers come via USPS. Here are the terms of the offer:

• Earn 100,000 Ultimate Rewards after spending $5,000 within the first 3 months of card membership
• The $95 annual fee is NOT waived.

Those targeted will need to visit ChaseSapphiremail.com and enter their unique invitation number and zip code.

Card Earning Structure

If you are targeted for the 100K Chase Sapphire Preferred offer it will also come with the following earning structure:

• 5X on travel when purchased through Chase Travel℠(excluding hotel purchases that qualify for the $50 Annual Chase Travel℠Hotel Credit).
• 3X on
  • Dining
  • Eligible delivery services
  • Online grocery (excluding Target, Walmart and wholesale clubs)
  • Select streaming services
• 2X on other travel purchases.
• 1X on all other eligible purchases

The earning rate could even be a little bit better than what is listed above thanks to one of the Preferred's card perks.

Card Perks

Here are the notable cardmember perks for the Sapphire Preferred credit card:

• Get 10% anniversary bonus on points earned each year on the cardholders anniversary.
  • When paired with this perk it makes the Preferred a better earner in some categories versus its more expensive sibling card.
• Get a $50 annual credit on hotel stays purchased through the Chase Travel℠ portal.
• Auto rental collision damage waiver.
  • This benefit provides reimbursement for damage due to collision or theft up to the actual cash value of most rental vehicles. Since the CSP's coverage is primary, you do not have to file a claim with any other party before you can receive coverage under this benefit.
• Trip cancellation/interruption insurance coverage.
  • If your trip is cut short or interrupted by sickness, severe weather and other covered situations, you can receive reimbursement for prepaid, nonrefundable travel expenses on up to $10,000 per person and $20,000 per trip.
• Baggage delay insurance.
  • If your checked bag is delayed by more than six hours, the CSP provides reimbursement for up to $100 per day for up to five days for essential purchases like toiletries and clothing.

How Do You Get This Offer?

Unfortunately, there is no way to get targeted for this offer. It is completely luck of the draw. If you have never been a Sapphire Preferred cardholder, or it has been several years, then you likely have a better chance at getting this. It does seem to be highly targeted though.

What Application Rules Apply?

This offer comes with the normal Chase and Sapphire Preferred application rules. Like other Chase cards, you will not qualify for this card if you have opened more than 5 credit cards with any bank in the last 24 months. Here are the other offer terms displayed on the application page as well:

This credit card is unavailable to you if you currently have one open. The new cardmember bonus may not be available to you if you currently have any other personal Sapphire cards open, previously held this card or received a new cardmember bonus for this card.
