There is a new Amex Offer that people will be pretty interested in. It is targeted and has a limited quantity so load it to your card of choice and think about what to buy later. This is a great way to get some discounted gift cards to places like Amazon, Best Buy or Target. You need to buy them in store if you go that route since Office Max uses a 3rd party vendor for their gift cards online and it won't code as Office Max / Depot for the purchase.

Get a one-time $10 statement credit by using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $75 in one or more purchases in-store at Office Depot or online at officedepot.com by 9/15/2023.

Offer Terms

Here are some of the more important terms for the Office Max / Depot Amex Offer:

Enrollment limited.
Must first add offer to Card and then use same Card to redeem.
Only U.S.-issued American Express® Cards are eligible.
Limit 1 enrolled Card per Card Member across all American Express offer channels.
Offer valid in-store and online only at US website officedepot.com.
Not valid on shipments outside the US. Excludes Office Depot, ODP Business Solutions and OfficeMax military stores.
Excludes e-gift card purchases, donations made to the Office Depot Foundation and Buyer Initiated Payments (BIP) and invoicing.
Limit of 1 statement credit per Card Member.
The enrolled Card account must be active, not past due, canceled, or have a returned payment outstanding to receive the statement credit.

Office Max / Depot Amex Offer: ToP Thoughts

While I wish the cap was a bit higher than $10 back this still offers over 13% off $75 from a variety of stores thanks to 3rd party gift cards. You could also pair it with one of the Visa or Mastercard gift card deals if you wait a few weeks for them to come back. I would stick with the Chase Ink Cash for those purchases myself and plan on grabbing Target or Amazon gift cards with this offer.
