Marriott Amex Offer
Today there is a new Marriott Amex offer that comes in a few different forms. The better of the Amex Offer options could save you up to $140 off your next Marriott stay. These are targeted offers, so be sure to check all of your American Express cards. Remember that you can only add Amex offers to one card, so choose your card wisely. Amex Offer Details
This Marriott Amex Offer has once again returned, and people are reporting a few different options on their accounts. (HT Danny the Deal Guru)
- Earn a one-time statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a the required minimum in one or more purchases on room rate and room charges at participating Marriott Bonvoy® properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean from 6/20/2025 to 8/20/2025. Some of the offers people have reported include:
- Spend $350, Get $140 Credit
- Spend $375, Get $100 Credit
- Spend $500, Get $100 Credit
- Spend $250, Get $50 Credit
The $140 off $350 is by far the better offer, but the $100 offer still can save you up to 25% on your next stay.
Offer Terms
- Offer valid only at participating Marriott Bonvoy® properties in the U.S. and U.S. territories, Canada, Mexico and the Caribbean.
- Reservations must be made online at Marriott.com, through the Marriott Bonvoy® App or by calling 1-888-236-2427.
- Excludes Marriott Vacation Club®, Marriott Grand Residence Club®, Design Hotels™, Protea Hotels®, Marriott Executive Apartments®, Homes & Villas by Marriott Bonvoy®, Vistana Signature Network and Vistana Residence Network.
- Excludes gift card purchases, online retail purchases, hotel amenities and purchases of Marriott Bonvoy® points.
- Qualifying purchase means a purchase at a participating Marriott Bonvoy® property made during the offer period with your enrolled American Express Card and which is in an amount totaling at least $350 USD as posted to your account, following conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable, in accordance with your Card Member Agreement.
- Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.
- Offer not valid for lodging stays that are paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date.
Marriott Amex Offer: ToP Thoughts
If a Marriott stay is in your future then this is a great offer. Even if you don't have a planned stay, this offer could swing things in Marriott's direction if the offer makes it the cheapest option. If this offer works for you, it could be worth up to 40% off an upcoming stay. The Marriott Amex Offer could even be useful for award stays, since room charges will work to trigger the credit as well. Let's say you have an upcoming stay at an expensive resort with points and you are fearing the cost of those pool drinks. When you knock 40% off those prices and then it doesn't seem so bad.
Remember that you can only add Amex offers to one card, so choose your card wisely. For most folks, this is an American Express Green card, for 3 points per dollar on hotels, a card you are working on a welcome offer, or something like a Blue Business Plus.
