Hyatt All Inclusive Hotels In Europe

Something that I think has flown mostly (completely?) under the radar is the fact that there are Hyatt all inclusive hotels in Europe. The excitement, probably rightfully so, seemed to be focused on the Caribbean and Mexico properties and these were kind of the forgotten afterthought. Well, not any longer! I spent a lot of time deep diving these properties so you have all the info you need in case you want to book one of them.

Hyatt All Inclusive Award Chart

Just a reminder that World of Hyatt annoyingly put together a new award chart for all inclusive properties. They use letters for the category levels, instead of numbers like for their standard hotels. I find this needlessly confusing, and pointless, but you will need this info when looking at the properties below.

World of Hyatt European All Inclusive Locations

In total there are 29 properties to choose from, or will be soon as a couple open over the next few months. I'll break down the hotels by category and give you a link to their site and TripAdvisor reviews. These properties seem to work a bit differently from what we are used to with all inclusive hotels. They offer normal standard hotel rates and then rates that include meals, or meals and some drinks etc. It looks like if you find award space those bookings include the full package from what I could tell. I will say, the prices are pretty reasonable on cash a lot of the time so awards may not be the best option for these. It looks like Spain enacted a law last year that limits people to 3 free drinks at lunch and 3 at dinner at all inclusive resorts too. You should be aware of that since they take up a large portion of the list currently.

Hyatt All Inclusive Hotels In Europe: ToP Thoughts

If I have time, and people seem interested, I'll try to dive into these a bit deeper and see what gems there are. I think the upcoming Bulgaria properties are the most interesting. I should note that many of these feel more like “resorts” with dining packages versus a traditional all inclusive. That is particularly true with the AluaSun properties.  I found it interesting that the majority of the hotels seem to be on the Canary Islands & Balearic Islands.

It should be noted that finding award space for some of the hotels did prove difficult. I wonder if that is because they are newer to the program or if it will always be an issue. To be honest, at some of these cash rates it won't make sense to spend points anyway. There doesn't appear to be any outrageous extra person fees above the standard 2 person booking, which is refreshing!
