ToP Monthly Review
I wanted to put together a series at the beginning of each month that looks at the 5 most popular posts from the previous month. This will ensure you didn’t miss any of the biggest news, or best deals, available each month. Let’s get into it!
Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Complete Credit Card Review
Our 5th most read post in August was no surprise. The launch of the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa came with mostly positive fanfare. While this is very much an over 5/24 card, I do think Bank of America and Alaska Airlines did a really good job with the launch of this one. Well, outside of horrible shipping timelines on the card for many. I really like how they made the perks useful to the program instead of using outside vendors (cough Grubhub cough).
New Hyatt & American Airlines Status Match Promotion
The Hyatt & American Airlines partnership has been really beneficial to travelers like us. This is always a popular status match when it comes around each summer. The better match, Hyatt to American, is ending over the next day or so for many. Others have until the end of the month to take advantage.
How To Turn The 100K Southwest Card Bonus Into A Companion Pass For 2 Years
Since this huge 100K offer has stuck around longer than normal it gives us some opportunity to maximize value. You can turn this 100,000 mile sign up bonus into a two year BOGO flight pass if you follow our plan.
Chase Sapphire Reserve Cardholders Get 5K Off Aeroplan Booking
This was a nice unexpected offer for cardholders. I know that many people took advantage and should be using their 5,000 mile discount soon. Anything that helps offset that increased annual fee is a good thing in my book.
Chase Sapphire Reserve® Review: Still The Best Premium Card?
I am a little surprised that this was the most popular post of the month. Mainly because the card was supposed to be losing a best ever offer in August. I never thought they would follow up their best ever offer with another (maybe better) best ever offer. While the value proposition was probably a little higher on the first offer, most miles and points people would likely prefer this offer.
