Bilt Rent Day

Late last year Bilt Rewards came out with a new idea to reward and entice Bilt Mastercard card holders called Bilt Rent Day. If you are not a cardholder have no fear, they also throw in a few goodies for you too. This, plus the addition of free Point.me searches for Bilt airline partners in app, show that the Bilt Rewards program is serious about offering value to all their users. I'll update this post each month with the current Bilt Rent Day promotions and also leave any previous month's info here so we can track how current offers compare to previous ones.

Update 4/1/26: It's officially April Bilt Rent Day! Knock out any April 1st transfer bonus plans and/or credit card spending offers.

What Is Bilt Rent Day?

The Bilt Rent Day promotion is intended to reward customers for using their Bilt Credit Cards and the Bilt Rewards app / program the first of every month. I think it is a pretty smart promotion and it gives loyal cardmembers consistent ability to earn bonus points. That is something that is usually a rarity in the miles and points space.

The rent day time frame consists of the first day of each month. Well, a little bit more than that actually. They consider 12:00am ET through 11:59pm PT on the first of each month to be the Bilt Rent Day timeframe, which is technically a 27 hour window.

On April 1, Bilt cardholders can earn points with the following multipliers:

• Blue Cardholders will earn 2X points on everyday spending (regularly 1X points), up to 1,000 bonus points 
• Obsidian Cardholders will earn 6X points on their selected category of dining or groceries (regularly 3X), 4X points on travel (regularly 2X), and 2X on other everyday purchases (regularly 1X), up to 1,000 bonus points 
• Palladium Cardholders will earn 4X on everyday spending (regularly 2X points), up to 1,000 bonus points

The double points offer comes with a cap of 1,000 points per rent day. That breaks down into a maximum of $333.33 on Dining/Grocery (Obsidian), $500 on Travel (Obsidian), $500 on everything else (Palladium), or $1,000 on everything else (Blue or Obsidian), or any combination of those categories on your particular card.

Bilt also offers up unique other perks, bonuses or contests each month for rent day too. I'll list them below each month for you. Here are some that happen every month:

‘RENT FREE’ GAME SHOW

A new game show where your favorite creators and personalities play to help you win free rent.

Bilt asked 1,000 of its Members some juicy questions. Your challenge is to see how well you know your fellow Bilt Members by submitting guesses to one of these questions. If you can correctly guess three of the most popular answers, you'll automatically be entered for the chance to get your October rent paid.

To show you how it’s done, Bilt brings on a special guest to play Rent Free live. The better the guest plays, the more people’s rent Bilt will pay. Rent Free is back again, and this month the featured guest is Pete Davidson.

BILT NEIGHBORHOOD DINING SERIES

Bilt continues its Neighborhood Dining Series. Each month, Bilt drops all-inclusive reservations at top Bilt Neighborhood Dining restaurants. Each reservation will feature a curated tasting menu with dishes from renowned chefs and a selection of premium cocktails for Bilt Member exclusive pricing.

Bilt Rent Day April 2026 Promotions

Celebrating its newest transfer partner announced this month, Bilt is featuring a transfer bonus to Wyndham.

Wyndham Transfer Bonus

Members can get a transfer bonus based on their elite status when they transfer points to Wyndham Rewards on April 1.

Key Details:

The base transfer ratio of Bilt Points to Wyndham is 1:1. The simplified transfer ratio is in parenthesis for each bonus.

• Blue: 25% bonus (1:1.25)
• Silver 50% bonus (1:1.5)
• Gold: 75% bonus (1:1.75)
• Platinum: 100% bonus (1:2)
• Bilt Cash Upgrade: Members can use $125 of Bilt Cash to unlock the bonus of the next higher status tier. Platinum members will be able to upgrade their bonus to 125% (1:2.25).
  • Note: Members can only access one tier up (i.e., Blue → Silver)
• Members must transfer points to Wyndham Rewards on April 1 to receive the benefit
• If members attempt to make transfers before Rent Day, a warning will pop up in user flow
• Bilt Cash upgrades will show on the drill-in page for Wyndham Rewards, available only on April 1

Note that the amount of Bilt Cash required to upgrade your bonus has changed each month so far. Last month it was $135, this month it is $125. Considering the generally accepted value of Bilt points in comparison to the value of Wyndham Rewards, I do not expect this to be a very popular transfer option this month. Wyndham sells its own points for less than 0.7 cents each, while Bilt Rewards can be worth upwards of 2 cents each. Think very carefully before pursuing this bonus.

Amazon.com Redemption Bonus

Members will get more value when they use their Bilt Points at checkout on Amazon.com to pay for all or part of their purchase on April 1.

Key details:

• Blue: 20% bonus
• Silver: 30% bonus
• Gold: 40% bonus
• Platinum: 50% bonus
• Members will need to link their Amazon.com account (if not already linked) to use Bilt Points at checkout
• Bonus applies to redemptions made on April 1 only

The standard redemption value for Bilt Points on Amazon is 0.7 cents per point. With these bonuses you could get over 1 cent per point in value, but this is still not a great option either considering all of the fantastic transfer partners that Bilt now has.

Other Bonuses & Benefits: Housing Credit Bonus (Targeted), Metropolis Parking, Neighborhood Comedy and Fitness Experiences

On ToP of all of the transfer and redemption bonus options mentioned above, Bilt has announced a few more perks available for members on Rent Day.

Housing Credit Bonus: this is a targeted bonus for some members that will give them 50% more towards housing credits during rent week (March 26-April 1). Eligible members will see the offer in their Bilt account under the “Housing Credits” tab in Everyday Rewards. This feature offers the ability to redeem Bilt Points to offset your housing payment in the form of credits.

Metropolis Parking Bonus: Bilt members will earn 5x on parking (instead of the standard 1x) on parking with Metropolis during rent week (March 26-April 1). New Metropolis members who park for the first time will also receive an additional 500 bonus points.

Neighborhood Comedy Experiences: Bilt-curated shows featuring neighborhood talent in 17 venues across 12 cities. Up to $50 of Bilt Cash can be applied to 1 comedy experience, 4 tickets per member.

Neighborhood Dining Experiences: Access to exclusive dining experiences at 42 restaurants across 10 cities. Up to $50 of Bilt Cash can be applied to 1 dining experience, 4 seats per member per booking.

Neighborhood Fitness Experiences: Access to Rent Day classes at Soul Cycle and Barry's for free.

Bilt is really showcasing the power of their Neighborhood program with these offerings for Rent Day and beyond. Take a look at the options for something that might work near you, or in a place you're visiting. Many of these opportunities don't require redeeming your Bilt Cash or Bilt Points but are still reserved exclusively for Bilt Members.

Bilt Rent Day March 2026 Promotions

Bilt has a fantastic transfer bonus this month and to an underrated award program. This is the best-ever transfer bonus to this airline from any award program (including the 1:1 ratio).

Japan Airlines (JAL) Transfer Bonus

Members can get a transfer bonus based on their elite status when they transfer points to Japan Airlines Mileage Bank on March 1.

The base transfer ratio of Bilt Points to JAL Mileage Bank is 1:1. The simplified transfer ratio is in parenthesis for each bonus.

• Blue: 25% bonus(1:1.25)

It's interesting that it cost only $75 in Bilt Cash to level up your bonus in February, but costs nearly double ($135) this month. That is something to keep an eye on in future months. For comparison's sake, $135 is enough Bilt Cash to offset fees on $4,500 in rent/mortgage payments, so be sure your transfer bonus is at least 4,500 points more than your current status. If so, this is a good deal to level-up.

Bilt Rent Day February 2026 Promotions

Bilt has a couple of interesting things this month, including the return of my favorite transfer bonus ever. It isn't quite as good this time around, but it still offers a ton of value. They did miss the mark on the Bilt Cash buy up, but more on that in a bit.

Accor Live Limitless (ALL) Transfer Bonus

Members can get a transfer bonus based on their elite status when they transfer points to Accor's loyalty program, ALL Accor on February 1.

Key Details:

The base transfer ratio of Bilt Points to Accor Points is 3:2. The simplified transfer ratio is in parenthesis for each bonus.

Blue: 25% bonus(6:5)
Silver: 50% bonus (1:1)
Gold: 75% bonus(6:7)
Platinum: 100% bonus (3:4)
New Bilt Cash Upgrade: For the first time, Bilt Members can use $75 of Bilt Cash to unlock the bonus of the next status tier. Platinum Members will be able to upgrade their bonus to 125% (2:3).

I talked about buying up to the next level with Bilt Cash in my breakdown of the new program. I though it would likely be the most valuable use of Bilt Cash, and this proves just that. The problem is that no one really has Bilt Cash yet, including cardholders that were supposed to get it upon approval. That is because they don't “get approved” until 2/8 officially. Bilt should have left the buy up option off, or issued the Bilt Cash to cardholders immediately upon approval. It likely would have driven more sign ups before February too. Instead, this will leave people that wanted to take advantage feel like they were screwed over a bit. Another messy snafu by the Bilt team in my opinion here. Unless they knew Accor would be too expensive if they did that, and wanted to offer this as a tease. Which is still more frustrating than enlightening for us end users.

The opportunity is there though. If I had bought up just for my 30,000 point balance as a Silver member (I drained my entire balance on the last Accor bonus) that would give me 5,000 more All Accor points. The value of that is over $100, which is better than a 1 to 1 rate on $75 in Bilt Cash. This should be your focus for your Bilt Cash at least once a year for a bonus that is valuable to you.

I am going to call this Bilt Rent Day the kitchen sink month. Bilt has thrown a lot of stuff against the wall this month, but I doubt most of it will stick for you. I think the home delivery promotion will be the most interesting for people. Let's take a look at the different offers:

Bilt Rent Day August 2025 Promotions

Bilt Rent Day July 2025 Promotions

For July Rent Day the focus will be on increased redemptions for gift cards. This will not be the best option for 99% of people. Unless you have a ton of Bilt points, and are cash strapped, you should stay away.

I looked at the gift cards briefly and they are currently 3,571 Bilt points for $25. If you were a Platinum member that would go to $50 for 3,571 points, or 1.4 cents per point. That is not a terrible redemption, thanks to top tier status, but you can do much better with a transfer partner.

Bilt Rent Day June 2025 Promotions

I think people may poo-poo this month's rent day promotion. But, I also think that it can be insanely valuable if it fits into your travel needs. You may want to dig a bit deeper into the Accor program before passing this one by.

Transfer Bonus With ALL

Members can enjoy an industry-first bonus of up to 200% when they convert their Bilt Points to ALL Reward points. Unlike other hotel currencies, ALL Reward points have a fixed value of approximately 2 Euro cents each, making this bonus incredibly valuable for our members.

As a Platinum member I need to really consider this one. I have always saved my Bilt points mainly for Hyatt, or when a really good transfer bonus comes through. I am going to have to take a look at my future travels and see if any Accor hotels would foot the bill. That way I could get a guaranteed 4 cents per point!

Lyft Redemption Bonus

Members can enjoy a bonus when they redeem their Bilt Points for Lyft rides during rent week, provided they've linked their Lyft and Bilt accounts.

Note to Partners:

We kick of May rent day with a promotion for Bilt's newest transfer partner – Southwest Airlines:

While Southwest has been taking a beating lately, this could still represent 2.4-2.6 cents per point at the top end of the transfer bonus (assuming a 1.2 – 1.3 cents valuation).

There is also a targeted Amazon redemption option, which most people should skip even with the bonus:

Bilt Rent Day April 2025 Promotions

Here are the details for the transfer bonuses and a redemption bonus on Lyft. The Lyft redemption doesn't make sense normally at $0.007 per point. If you have status and get a 100% boost then it brings it up to a more respectable 1.4 cents each. You will likely still do better with partner transfers though. There are also the standard dining, comedy and fitness things happening on rent day in select major cities.

Members can enjoy a bonus when they redeem their Bilt Points for Lyft rides once they’ve linked their Lyft and Bilt accounts.

Bilt Rent Day October 2024 Promotions

Here are the details for October's Bilt Rent Day promotion. I think the 10x on Bilt neighborhood dining is the only thing I would care about, and that is if I am targeted for it.

Hilton Gold Status Match

On October 1st, all Bilt Members can activate a status match with Hilton that will last until December 31, 2024. All Bilt members also have the ability to upgrade their status to Hilton Honors Diamond!

All Bilt members who stay 8 nights at a Hilton property before December 31, 2024 will keep Hilton Gold status until March 31, 2026:

• If Bilt Blue, Silver, and Gold members stay 14 nights at a Hilton property before December 31, 2024, they will be upgraded to Hilton Diamond status through March 31, 2026.

Bilt Rent Day September 2024 Promotions

There is a lot to go over on this Rent Day, including two different transfer bonus. Let's dive into it.

Avianca LifeMiles Transfer Bonus

One Bite Pizza Festival Experience

This Rent Day we are excited to officially partner with Dave Portnoy’s One Bite Pizza Festival and offer Bilt members an exclusive opportunity to secure tickets and access to the Bilt Living Room lounge at the event. 

One Bite takes place on September 14, 2024 on Randall’s Island Park in New York, NY. The festival has two sessions for which Bilt members can purchase tickets: the afternoon session from 12:00pm to 4:00pm and the evening session from 6:30pm to 10:00pm. Tickets for the afternoon session are $180 per person or Bilt 6,000 points. Tickets to the evening session are $150 per person or 5,000 Bilt points. 

Tickets will be available for all members at 12:00pm ET on August 28. Tickets can be purchased using Bilt points or using any card linked to the member’s Bilt account. Tickets can not be purchased using a combination of cash and Bilt points. 

Bilt members can purchase anywhere from one (1) and (6) tickets to One Bite to either Afternoon or Evening, but not to a combination of both. For a booking completed by a redemption of Bilt points, Bilt points will be deducted automatically from your account upon completion of your redemption. For a purchase made with a card, your card will be charged automatically. You will receive confirmation of your reservation by email. A One Bite booking is not considered confirmed until the order is complete and confirmation via email is sent. All One Bite tickets are final sale. 

ResortPass BOGO: 

Bilt Members will be able to bring a friend on us to a day at the pool or spa at over 1,600 properties via our new partners at ResortPass. Members can select the property they are interested in via the Rent Day experience in the Bilt app or website. From there, members will be sent to the specific property they want to book and a coupon code automatically applied at checkout.

Elite Status Match

From June 25th to July 1st, Bilt Platinum Members will be able to activate Alaska MVP Gold Status and Bilt Gold Members will be able to activate Alaska MVP Status, both with the transfer of 10,000 Bilt points to Alaska. Bilt Rent Day May 2024 Promotions

This month is a focus on cashing out Bilt points on rent. This is not a good option for pretty much anyone, especially travelers. But, if you are points rich and cash poor it offers a little spiff on ToP of the cash out. So if you need to do it, I guess this lessons the blow slightly, and I still would look elsewhere first. Here are the details:

This Rent Day period (4/25-5/1), we want to help Bilt Members do just that and are rewarding you. When Bilt Members redeem points toward rent you’ll get 100% of those points back to be used toward the Bilt Home Collection. Minimum points allowed will be 1K and maximum points will be 50K.

Explore member favorites and handpicked additions to the Bilt Home Collection to give your home a spring refresh. 

Here’s what to do:  

1. Head to the Pay Rent tab in the Bilt app between 4/25 and 5/1
2. Select Pay with Points 
3. Add the amount of points you’d like to redeem towards your rent 
4. Complete your rent redemption, and automatically receive the same amount of points back to be used on the Bilt Home Collection

Points earned back to be used on the Bilt Home Collection will be displayed at the top of the ‘Collection’ tab in the Bilt Rewards app. Bilt Home Collection points will expire after six months.

Bilt Rent Day March 2024 Promotions

This March, we are offering a first-of-its-kind Rent Day allowing Members to pick the featured benefit for March 1st.

Beginning February 26th in the Bilt app and on Biltrewards.com, Bilt Members can cast their votes on the Bilt Bracket to select their favorite benefits. Starting with 8 head-to-head matchups consisting of 16 offers, Members will come to the Bilt app every day to vote on their favorite benefit in each matchup. The winning benefits will progress to the next round of voting the following day and voting will continue each day through February 29th. The last offer standing after voting on February 29th will be featured as the Rent Day benefit on March 1st.

As a bonus, Bilt members with Gold or Platinum status will be able to participate in both the winning offer as well as the offer that is the runner-up!

It looks like the best two options will 10x at gas stations on up to 2,000 points or 5x at grocery stores up to 5x points. Which they of course put against each other in the first round…

Ride with Lyft

Bilt Mastercard® cardholders can activate a $5 ride credit with Lyft. Make sure your Lyft and Bilt accounts are linked and on January 1st select “Activate credits” in the Bilt app on the Rent Day tab. You’ll see your Lyft ride credit under “Lyft Pass” in the Payment section of the Lyft app within 72 hours of activating. The Lyft ride credit is valid for 90 days.

Shop with Amazon 

Bilt Mastercard® cardholders can shop with a 50% redemption bonus on Amazon on January 1st. Make sure your Bilt Card is linked to your Amazon account, add the items you want to purchase to your cart, and select your Bilt Card as your payment method. The points shown at checkout will automatically reflect the added 50% bonus.

What Is Bilt Rent Day: ToP Thoughts

If I had a Bilt Rewards card I would likely be switching over my spending on the first of the month, which is the real goal of this promotion. The hope is that you keep the card at the top of your wallet afterwards too. Whether or not you do is up to you, though I will say that 3X on dining with those transfer partners is pretty great. Regardless of what you do the rest of the month I would focus on it during rent day each month for sure. Getting 6X on dining and 4X on travel is pretty much unbeatable if you aren't working on a welcome offer currently. I like that they offer the quizzes and other things for Bilt Rewards members that don't have the card too. That means there is an opportunity at extra points for everyone!
