Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card Review
The Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card is back to its 100,0000-point offer (and the Atmos Rewards Ascent Visa Signature has an elevated offer, too). A premium Alaska Airlines credit card was a long-awaited addition to the credit card space. Atmos Rewards are some of the most valuable miles out there, and the premium card comes with quite a few perks. That said, this remains an over 5/24 card. Let's dive in to this card, and see how it stacks up against the lower-annual-fee Ascent card too. Photos courtesy Atmos Rewards.

Any time you see a 100K point offer it is worth digging a little deeper, especially when it is valuable Atmos miles . The 25K companion award is a really nice cherry on ToP. Here is what the terms say about the companion certificates:
- Each Global Companion Award may be used for a discount up to the stated value of points off a companion award booking when the primary cardholder redeems points for travel and is traveling with another guest on a published award ticket on the same itinerary, booked at the same time on AlaskaAir.com.
That means you will be able to use these on partner award bookings. You should also be able to ToP them off with miles in your accounts too, which makes this a 25K off any award flight deal. Here is a full FAQ about Atmos companion certificates.

Bank Of America Application Rules
Be sure to check out our application rules for all major credit card issuers guide for more detail. Here are the main rules to consider with Bank of America if you were going to apply for the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa:
The Bank of America 2/3/4 Rule
Bank of America has what’s known as the 2/3/4 rule: generally, you can be approved for at most
- 2 Bank of America cards in a rolling two-month period
- 3 Bank of America cards in a rolling 12-month period
- 4 Bank of America cards in a rolling 24-month period.
Bank of America 3/12 & 7/12 Rule
There is also a 3/12 and 7/12 rule and which one you fall under depends on if you have a checking account with them or not. If you do not have one then you fall under the 3/12 rule. If you have gotten more than 3 new personal cards in the past 12 months (from all banks) then you will likely be denied. The good news is that if you have a checking account with Bank of America then that goes up to 7 new personal cards in the past 12 months. From the data points I have seen, and have myself, it doesn't seem like business cards count. This doesn't seem to always be enforced in my personal experience. It does show that if you have a checking account with Bank of America then you will have better approval odds though.

ToP Analysis: Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Infinite Credit Card
We like the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa credit card quite a bit for people for are over 5/24 and are loyal to the Atmos (Alaska) program. This card offers good value even if you never fly Alaska Airlines, because Atmos smartly made many of these perks useful for partner flights too.
Companion Certificates & Partner Award Fees
These are arguably the best ones available on the market. It should be pretty easy to find a flight for 25,000 miles or more on Alaska or their many partner airlines. This perk alone could offset a huge chunk of the annual fee for many.
Lounge Access & Delay Credit
The $50 credit for delays is another outside-the-box, unique perk of the card. It was interesting to see them break out the lounge access a bit. To be fair, Delta did it first with their recent changes. If you are a hub captive, then you likely would have liked to see unlimited access. For the rest of us this is likely enough, and it probably kept the annual fee a few hundred dollars cheaper than it would have been.
Earning Structure
The last thing that is worth mentioning is the earning structure. Usually airline cards are not known to be great earning vessels, and this card is not too much different. But, the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa at least offers something that could come in handy with 3x on international purchases. This could make it your go-to credit card while abroad.
Why This Is Still An Over 5/24 Card
Yes, this review is mostly positive with the card offering a large welcome offer, decent earning structure and interesting perks, but it is still an over 5/24 card. Why? Because it will still be there when you get past 5/24. This card launched last year and isn't going anywhere.

Atmos Rewards Summit Visa Credit Card Review: ToP Thoughts
There is a lot to like about the Atmos Rewards Summit Visa credit card. We would put it up near the top of the airline credit card space, probably a notch or two below the Chase Aeroplan card. Bank of America didn't coupon-ify this one or look to outside vendors to help carry the value of their credit card. This one is a worthy tool to have in your belt if you value the Atmos program—just once you are past 5/24.
