Target Circle Week

Target Circle, the store's rewards like program, has been around for a minute now, but it now looks like Target is going all in on it. They are changing the name of the long running RedCard to the Target Circle card, and revamped the Target Circle program a bit. In celebration of this change they are having a week of deals, cleverly dubbed, the Target Circle week. Most of the offers are your standard discount fare, but I thought it was worth noting that Target gift cards will be 10% off as a part of them. Usually we only see this offer once a year around Thanksgiving. Let's take a look at the details of that deal and all of the other offers this week.

Update 4/13/24: Today is the day to lock in 10% off Target!

Target RedCard is no more!

Target Circle Week Deals

Here is a breakdown of the announced weekly deals. I am sure there will be other things that pop up here and there during the week in your Target Circle App as well. Hopefully we get some Target Circle bonus deals to stack with all of this too.

  • 4/8 – Deals on Acer laptops & 30% off Squishmallows
  • 4/9 – 40% off rugs and discounted 3rd party gift card deals (on Panera Bread, AMC & Regal Cinemas)
  • 4/10 – 30% off women's denim clothing and discounts on Dyson V8 vacuums
  • 4/11 – Apple AirPods on sale and 20% off trading cards
  • 4/12 – 40% off SodaStream items and $50 off Meta Quest 2
  • 4/13 – 10% off Target gift cards and 30% off slow cookers
    • Looks like it is a cap of $500 per Target Circle account. That should mean $1,000 in two player mode.

Unfortunately the newly renamed Target Circle Card does not earn 5% off Target gift cards. It should work towards the 3rd party gift cards on 4/9, assuming any of them interest you. I highlighted the two dates that offer discounts that you can lock in for future purchases. Be sure to add them to your calendar if you find them useful.

10% Off Target Gift Cards: ToP Thoughts

Getting 10% off Target gift cards is always a welcomed offer. Target gift cards are rarely offered at a discount, so I always load up when I can. I love that you can upload them right to your Target Circle App, and save them, versus carrying the physical cards around. We all have enough cards in our wallets as it is! You don't want to purchase more than you can use in a reasonable time frame though. Otherwise you are giving Target an interest free loan, and it devalues the discount you are getting overall.

Are you planning on grabbing some 10% off Target gift cards during the sale? Let me know over in the ToP Facebook Group.
