Select cardholders are seeing targeted offers as high as $200 back on $500 of Away purchases. Here’s a breakdown of how to leverage this new Chase Away luggage offer:

• We have seen two versions of this offer floating around on at least the Chase Sapphire Preferred® and Chase Sapphire Reserve® cards, though it's possible the offer extends to offer cards too.
  • Earn $100 cash back on your Away purchase of $400 or more.
  • Earn $200 cash back on your Away purchase when you spend $500 or more.
• Login to your Chase account and scroll to “Chase Offers.” Toggle between your accounts to check if any are targeted.
• Enroll in the offer by tapping the “+” button. A checkmark will confirm you've “added to card.”
• Offer expires May 20, 2026, at 11:59PM ET.
• Your order must meet the spending minimum after factoring in any discounts. Taxes and fees do count toward the total.

Offer Terms

Here are the terms to keep in mind on this new Chase Away luggage offer. Note what may happen if Away splits your order into more than one transaction, which we've seen happen for some shoppers during previous versions of this offer.

• Offer is valid for one-time use.
• The merchant sometimes splits purchases into multiple transactions.
  • The offer will be automatically awarded as a statement credit on the first qualifying transaction amount, according to Chase.
  • If this occurs, the bank's terms say to call the number on the back of your card.
• Purchases must be made directly with Away, either in a U.S. store or on the Away website.
• The statement credit should appear within 30 days after the transaction posts.

Stacking Opportunities

There are several ways to stack the new Chase Away luggage offer for some extra savings.

• Away's bundle offers:
  • Buy three suitcases and save $100.
  • Save $50 when purchasing one suitcase paired with a second suitcase or bag.

• Referral discount: Use Sarah's referral link for $40 off your first-time purchase of $125 or more. (Note that this doesn't appear to stack with the bundle offers.)
• Shopping portals: Earn extra points, miles or cash back by running this purchase through a portal before charging it to your Chase card.
  • As of press time, Rakuten is offering up to 2X (or 2%) back, and Rove Miles is offering 2.3X miles.
  • Check Cashback Monitor to see which portal is offering the highest rate or to find the offer that best meets your earning needs.
• ToP Tip: A “Travel Together” bundle of two of the Bigger Carry-Ons would come to $540 before taxes, more than enough to trigger the $200 offer, and could be a nice P1-P2 option. For the $100 offer, you could purchase one carry-on and pair it with accessories like packing cubes, toiletry cases and totes to meet the $400 spend.
