Paze Adding Macy's

It looks like this summer's most popular digital wallet has a new merchant. This morning, we heard reports of Paze adding Macy's. The current merchant list has not yet been updated to show Macy's, but sure enough, I see it as a checkout option on my desktop. It also seems to be working when shopping Macy's in the Rakuten app. Several ToP team members are seeing it, too. This adds yet another option for using the +10X earning benefit for select Chase cards, stacking the $10 off $10 deal and more. A Paze spokesperson confirmed to ToP that Macy's is in the process of being added to its merchants. It is currently in a standard testing phase and is only being shown to a subset of shoppers. Once testing is complete, it will more broadly roll out.

UPDATE 8/7/26: Many are seeing the option again after It disappeared for many after initial roll out. Stack with Rakuten for up to 10x/10% back.

Paze Adding Macy's

What is Paze?

Paze is a digital wallet, similar to PayPal. It has partnered with Bank of America, Capital One, Chase, Citi, US Bank, Wells Fargo and other banks, allowing you to add eligible cards as a checkout method. Find the full list of participating banks, but note that Chase is the only one with a +10X earning benefit. (See our full guide to using Paze for +10X Chase Ultimate Rewards.) Participating merchants include United Airlines, Sephora, Pet Supermarket, ShopRite, StubHub and others. And now, we see Paze adding Macy's.

How to Check Out at Macy's With Paze

With Paze adding Macy's, it's a good time to fill your shopping cart. Once you have, click on “Proceed to Checkout.” Your default payment method will populate first, so click “Edit.”

That should take you to a screen with other payment methods including—yes—Paze!

Paze Adding Macy's

Since Paze just appeared today, it may not be showing for everyone yet. For what it's worth, I can currently see it on desktop in Google Chrome and through the Rakuten app. But I do not see it as a checkout option yet in the app or on Google Chrome mobile. I'd expect this may be a YMMV situation, at least in the beginning during the testing phase. We have some general troubleshooting advice in our guide to Paze. If Paze is not showing for you, make sure your Macy's email matches your Paze email. (This has sometimes helped with other vendors). You can also test it across different devices and/or checking back later to see if it appears.

How to Stack With Other Paze Offers

Paze adding Macy's opens the door for some excellent earning potential. Here are a few ideas:

+10X Earning With Eligible Chase Cards

Several banks and cards can be linked to your Paze account. But a current Chase promotion can make it very lucrative to checkout with its cards. Now through Dec. 31, 2026, the following personal cards earn +10X Chase Ultimate Rewards when checking out with Paze. The benefit is good for up to $1,500 in purchases per month (for a total of up to 15,000 additional points monthly) per eligible card:

Paze's $10 of $10 Deal

Paze's own $10 off $10 offer is still running, expiring Sept. 10, 2026. It can be used up to 10 times per eligible card. That's worth up to $100 in credits per any eligible card that you link to your Paze digital wallet. The terms note that the offer may not work for every transaction. If the offer isn't showing at checkout, that likely means it's ineligible for your purchase. However, I tried a test transaction at Macy's and the promo is showing at checkout.

Shopping Portals

Macy's often has elevated multipliers across various shopping portals. Just this past weekend, I shopped Macy's when it was at 14x on Rakuten. I think this could be particularly exciting when the holidays approach. While the $10 off $10 deal should be expired by then, Macy's should have high multipliers on the portals. That will make it a great option for buying gifts and simultaneously earning through portals and the Chase +10x benefit. Watch for airline shopping portal bonuses, too. Paze Adds Macy's: ToP Thoughts

While Paze has brought some exciting earning and saving opportunities this summer, its retailer list is largely still lacking. Once it rolls out broadly for everyone, Macy's brings a versatile new option for shopping a wide range of products. If you're looking to use the $10 off $10 deal, know that getting free shipping requires certain Macy's status levels or spending a minimum of $49. Personally, I'm more excited about the earning potential that could come from Paze adding Macy's. Paired with shopping portal earnings, I think this could be huge for the approaching holiday season.
