United Airlines Instacart Promotion
Who loves free miles? As everyone is nodding their heads in agreement, we've learned from our Facebook group (thanks Cheryl Renee!!) of a new United Airlines Instacart promotion. This is good timing, as Instacart has been all the rage lately, as cards began adding perks for the service and it becomes more and more popular. Without further ado, we break down how YOU can get some free miles.
What is Instacart?
Before we break down the United Airlines Instacart promotion, first let us tell you about Instacart itself. Instacart is a home-delivery service for groceries, food and beverages. Many cards have Instacart credits and/or Instacart+ membership benefits. You can read different card perks HERE and HERE. Chances are, you have one or more cards with Instacart Perks!
The Promotion
The United Airlines Instacart promotion is very simple: link your United Airlines account to your Instacart account and you are set to earn some free United miles and perks. There are up to four different pieces to this promotion, which are:
- new Instacart users can earn 5,000 United miles after linking their UA & Instacart accounts and completing four (4) orders on Instacart in the first eight (8) weeks after linking.
- if you complete the four qualifying orders offer above, you can earn another 5,000 United miles by signing up for an Instacart+ annual membership and keeping it open for 30+ days after enrollment.
- existing Instacart users can link their UA & Instacart accounts and earn 500 United miles after completing their first order after linking.
- After linking your UA & Instacart accounts, you can activate a week-long, $0 delivery fees offer on all Instacart orders. You can activate this offer between seven (7) days before and fourteen (14) days after your most recent United flight.

Terms & Conditions
The terms & conditions of the United Airlines Instacart promotion are fairly straightforward. For the 5,000 United miles bonus for completing qualifying orders, you must:
- complete four (4) orders of $35 or more per order, before tip, taxes and fees. All four orders must be placed within eight weeks of the first qualifying order.
- the 5,000 United bonus miles will be sent to your linked United account within 6-8 weeks following completion of the promotion
For the 5,000 United miles bonus for an Instacart+ membership, the terms are:
- complete the four qualifying orders outlined above
- sign up for the Instacart+ annual membership from the offer enrollment page
- keep the Instacart+ membership active for at least 30 days from enrollment
- the 5,000 United bonus miles will be sent to your linked United account within 6-8 weeks following completion of the promotion

Existing users can earn 500 United miles with this promotion. Those terms & conditions include:
- The first order must be placed within sixty (60) days of offer enrollment
- Restaurant orders are excluded
- Bonus points awarded after successful pickup or delivery and will arrive within 6-8 weeks following completion of the promotion

The $0 delivery fees promotion terms are:
- activate this 7-day Instacart+ membership between 7 days before and 14 days after a domestic United Airlines flight
- the qualifying flight must depart and arrive inside the United States
- delivery fees are waived on orders of $10+ for groceries, $35+ for Costco, and $25+ for eligible restaurants
- offer valid only for orders placed via the Instacart app or instacart.com

We all love points and miles and it is even better when we get points & miles for free! There's a lot to like about this United Airlines Instacart promotion, especially since basically everyone has Instacart credits and/or a free Instacart+ membership from credit cards.
