Chase Instacart Benefits

Many Chase credit cards now come with Instacart benefits. With these Chase Instacart benefits, eligible cardholders can get complimentary Instacart+ and between $10 and $20 in monthly credits that can help them save when using the online grocery ordering service. Perks like these can help offset your card's annual fee, but only if you're aware you have them and can maximize them.

What makes these Instacart benefits even better is if you or another member of your household hold multiple eligible Chase cards, you may be able to stack these offers to save more on your Instacart purchases each month. You could potentially even extend your complimentary Instacart+ membership, which comes with free delivery and other perks.

Chase already offered Instacart benefits on some of its co-branded and business credit cards, but now even more cards will have access to these limited-time perks. Read on for a full list of which Chase cards now come with Instacart benefits and credits, and how to use them.

Which Chase Cards Have Instacart Benefits?

Chase offers Instacart benefits like complimentary Instacart+ and money-saving credits on many of its cards. The benefits are valid through December 31, 2027, and require you to enroll your eligible card to activate them.

Exactly what you get depends on which Chase card you hold. Unfortunately, you won't see these Instacart benefits on Chase's popular personal travel cards like the Chase Sapphire Preferred or the Chase Sapphire Reserve.

The following credit cards now offer complimentary Instacart+ for three months, which comes with free delivery and other potentially valuable perks. Cardholders will also get a monthly $10 credit towards Instacart purchases.

Chase instacart credits for business cards

Chase recently added Instacart benefits on several of its business credit cards. The following business cards now come with three months of complimentary Instacart+ and a monthly $20 credit:

Chase United Cards

Earlier this year, Chase also added Instacart benefits on many of its co-branded United cards. The United cards also come with complimentary Instacart+ and monthly credits, plus some additional benefits.

  • United Clubâ„  and United Clubâ„  Business Cards
    • Complimentary Instacart+ membership
    • Two $10 Instacart credits at the beginning of each month when using your eligible card
  • Unitedâ„  Quest
    • Complimentary 3 months Instacart+ membership
    • One $10 Instacart credit on your first purchase and $5 Instacart credit on your second purchase each month with your eligible card (total $15) when you maintain your Instacart+ membership
    • 50% off an annual Instacart+ membership renewal with your eligible card
  • Unitedâ„  Explorer & Unitedâ„  Business Cards
    • Complimentary 3 months Instacart+ membership
    • $10 Instacart credit each month when you maintain your Instacart+ membership with your eligible card
    • 25% off an annual Instacart+ membership renewal with your eligible card

How To Use These Monthly Credits

These Chase Instacart benefits are only valuable if you actually remember to use them. To start, you'll first need to sign up for a free Instacart account. Then, you'll need to enroll your eligible cards to redeem these offers.

These are the links to enroll, based on which Chase card you hold:

**When enrolling business cards it will try to get you to sign up for the business Instacart account. Sign in using your personal account and then select Maybe Later (pictured below) when it asks to set up a business account. This should allow you to add business card credits to your personal account.

After enrolling your eligible card, you'll immediately get three months of complimentary Instacart+ and the monthly credits added to your account. Set a renewal reminder so you don't get charged once your complimentary subscription ends.

With the monthly Instacart credits, there are a few things to keep in mind:

  • These $10-$20 monthly credits only apply while you have an active Instacart+ membership, so if you cancel it after your three months is up and downgrade to the free membership, they will no longer be added to your account.
  • You must use your eligible Chase card to pay for your Instacart purchases for these credits to kick in.
  • You can only apply one credit per order.
  • These are also use-it-or-lose it benefits, so if you don't make any Instacart purchases one month, that credit won't roll over to the next month.

You have until December 31, 2027 to enroll your eligible Chase card and start using these new Instacart benefits. So it could be worth waiting until a period of time when you know you'll want to use the online grocery ordering service to activate your complimentary Instacart+ membership.

How To Stack Offers From Multiple Chase Cards

Getting between $10-$20 off your online grocery order each month is better than nothing. But these benefits are even more valuable if you hold multiple eligible Chase cards as these offers appear to stack. One member of the ToP Facebook group was able to activate the offers on four different co-branded cards — United Explorer, Marriott Boundless, IHG, and Hyatt — to get a total of $40 in Instacart credits added to their account each month.

However, it appears you may not be able stack offers from personal and business Chase cards if you set up your account wrong. That will depend on how you add(ed) the Ink cards to your Instacart account. Just make sure to not set up a new Instacart Business account and you should be able to pair up personal and business credits.

It will not be possible to add duplicates of the same card to one account. For example, if you have two Ink Cash cards you will not be able to add both to the same Instacart account. Some ToP members have gotten around this by creating a new Instacart account with a different email address. You may need to use a different address and do pick up orders to get around it if they marry different Instacart accounts because of the same address. That could be the hold up if you keep getting errors.

What's more, you should be able to extend your complimentary Instacart+ membership. Several ToP members have reported that each time they activated the Instacart benefits on one of their Chase cards, it bumped out their membership renewal out another three months. So if you have four eligible Chase cards, for instance, you could potentially get an entire year of free Instacart+.

Chase Instacart Benefits: ToP Thoughts

Getting more perks and credits on cards is always a good thing, especially for cards with no annual fee. But the banks are banking (no pun intended) on you forgetting to use up all these valuable credits. If you have one (or more!) Chase cards with these Instacart benefits, be sure to take advantage of them. While not massive, these $10-$20 credits can cover taxes and fees on your online grocery orders each month, and you could potentially save even more if you can stack these offers.
