Rove Adds Copa Airlines
Rove Miles keep getting more valuable. Today, the program grows its collection of transfer partners once again. As of Sept. 1, 2026, Rove adds Copa Airlines ConnectMiles. The partnership with the Panama-based airline gives Rove members one more way to use Rove Miles for flights across Central America, South America, the Caribbean, North America and for flights via Copa's Star Alliance partners. Plus, the addition comes with a 40% transfer bonus now to Sept. 30, 2026. Rove continues to add partners faster than any other transferable currency, now with 21 of them. What Are Rove Miles?
Rove is a shopping and travel portal that allows members to earn and redeem the first “universal airline miles.” There are no credit cards required to earn this currency, and it’s completely free to sign up for the program. The news that Rove adds Copa Airlines—a rare transfer partner among the major currencies—follows the pattern Rove has become known for. Rove's 21st Transfer Partner
Rove is a transferable currency, with more than 20 travel partners as of Sept. 1, 2026. Rove adds Copa Airlines ConnectMiles as its 21st transfer partner, with a rate of 1-to-1. Transfer Bonus at Launch
In celebration of the launch, Rove is running a 40% transfer bonus on all transfers to Copa Airlines ConnectMiles now to September 30, 2026, at 11:59 p.m. ET. This increases the 1-to-1 transfer ratio to 1-to-1.4. That means 1,000 Rove Miles transferred will become 1,400 ConnectMiles during the promo. The ConnectMiles program does not pass on carrier-imposed surcharges on award flights, a great perk if you're redeeming flights through partners like Lufthansa, Swiss, ANA and Emirates.
Maximize the transfer bonus by searching for Copa's sweet spots, like the U.S. to Dubai in Emirates business class from 80,000 miles (which would require 57.2k Rove Miles with the 40% bonus) or San Francisco to New York in United Polaris from 25,000 miles (which would require 17.9k Rove Miles with the bonus). Note that while 25,000 miles is the saver-level award for Copa's transcontinental United Polaris flights, the standard award pricing of 55,000 miles is more common. You can also fly Copa from the U.S. to Central America, South America and the Caribbean from 15,000 miles in economy, which requires 10.8k Rove Miles with the bonus.
Other Rove Updates: New App, Dining Program + More
This past week, Rove also expanded its travel rewards platform. It launched a new app, available on iOS and in beta for Android users. Rove Dining rolled out, allowing members to link an eligible card to their Rove account and then earn miles at participating restaurants in select cities. It also redesigned its hotel booking platform and browser extensions. It added new in-store earning opportunities and instant-earning gift cards, too. Rove Adds Copa Airlines: ToP Thoughts
As Rove adds Copa Airlines, members will have a new way to use their Rove Miles for flights across Latin America, the Caribbean and beyond. New transfer partners are always a good thing, especially as Rove continues to pile on unique partnerships. Aside from Marriott Bonvoy, which has a 3:1 transfer ratio to the ConnectMiles program, Rove now becomes the only major transferable currency to partner with ConnectMiles in the U.S. That makes the 40% bonus an even rarer opportunity.
