Is It Worth It?
This new Hilton timeshare presentation offer is sizable—25,000 more Hilton Honors points than the last one we published, in fact. While Hilton points aren't the most valuable, worth around $0.0045 each, the 125,000 points still equate to over $560. That more than covers the cost of several of the packages, which are cheaply discounted already. There's also a good chance you'll earn Hilton points on the stay (unless it's a timeshare property) since your reservation should look like a paid stay to the hotel. YMMV.
The catch? That pesky 2-hour timeshare presentation. What's that like? Be honest about your interests and why you are there—if you're in it for the points and/or the cheap vacation, don't be afraid to say that. If you have a hard time saying no, you might want to avoid these. If you have kiddos, we've generally found that there's a supervised play room for them to hang out in while you're at the presentation.
