25K AAdvantage Business Promo
American Airlines has an incredibly generous new offer that could net you 25,000 miles. All you have to do is enroll your business for an AAdvantage Business account. There are some program requirements to meet, but they are waived for those those who hold the Citi® AAdvantage Business℠ World Elite Mastercard®. Technically, this promo runs through July 31. But we’d recommend you act fast. As we’ve seen with deals that disappear once they go too viral, it’s hard to say how long it will last. UPDATE 7/10/26: We're hearing reports of the 25,000 miles being removed from users' business accounts and being replaced with 5,000 miles as an apology. Details below.
Miles Removal – 7/10 Updates
This morning, the 25,000 miles were removed from user accounts that didn't meet this promotion's eligibility requirements. American Airlines sent the above email to affected accounts, noting that users will receive new deposits of 5,000 miles as an apology. The email also notes that transfers to personal accounts that were initiated during the promo period will be reversed (and then presumably removed). We are hearing reports that members who transferred the promotional miles to their personal accounts are seeing them removed also.
Program Requirements
First, let's look at the requirements you'll need to meet to be able to use the miles earned. Businesses can access the miles earned through the 25K AAdvantage Business Promo once they have:
- At least 5 active travelers, and:
- $5,000 in eligible spend on flights with American during the calendar year
- Importantly, these requirements are waived for Citi® AAdvantage Business℠ World Elite Mastercard® cardmembers.
- Once you meet those requirements, your mileage redemption ability will continue through the following calendar year (up to 24 months). After that, you’ll have to re-qualify each calendar year.
How to Register
Here's how to sign up for the 25K AAdvantage business promo. We'll break this down into two sets of instructions, with separate info for those who are already business accountholders.
If you don’t already have an AAdvantage Business account, follow these steps:
- Click “register” on the offer landing page.
- Sign in to your AAdvantage account.
- You’ll be prompted to verify your work email.
- Fill out the form.
- On the last page, enter promo code JOINA7.
If you already have an AAdvantage Business account, follow these steps:
- Login to your personal account, and then toggle over to your business account.
- Scroll down to settings.
- Make sure you have all the fields filled out. P2 and I were both missing phone numbers and had to add them.
- Under promo code, enter JOINA7.
- Click “save.”
Miles don't count toward status qualification or Million Miler status. The promo says to expect the miles from 6 to 8 weeks after successful enrollment, but we've seen them appear instantly.
