LGA Terminal B Lounges
How many airport lounges can you visit before one flight? I recently put that question to the test at New York LaGuardia Airport (LGA). I visited all three premium credit card lounges in Terminal B in one trip: the American Express Centurion Lounge, Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club and Capital One Landing. Each offers complimentary food, drinks and a place to escape the busy terminal for eligible guests. But beyond that, the experiences couldn’t be more different. Here’s how these LGA Terminal B Lounges compare, how to access each one—and which I’d choose for my next flight.

American Express Centurion Lounge at LGA
The American Express Centurion Lounge at LGA offers the most traditional experience of these three LGA Terminal B lounges. It was also the least crowded, with no wait to enter during my visit. With a chef-curated buffet, full bar and comfortable seating, it’s a great option for a quick meal or a drink before boarding. While it lacks the elaborate amenities and made-to-order dining of the other lounges, its simplicity makes it my top choice for a shorter visit.

How to Access the Amex Centurion Lounge at LGA
Access is available to eligible premium American Express cardholders. This includes those with The Platinum Card® from American Express and The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. Eligible Delta SkyMiles® Reserve American Express Card and Delta SkyMiles® Reserve Business American Express Card members can also access Centurion Lounges when flying on qualifying Delta flights purchased with an eligible U.S.-issued American Express card. Entry is generally limited to three hours before departure, with different rules for connecting flights. Guest access policies and fees vary by card.
Chase Sapphire Lounge at LGA
Among the LGA Terminal B lounges, the Chase Sapphire Lounge by The Club at LGA offers the best of both worlds. It combines premium dining, wellness amenities and entertainment. Guests can enjoy prepared and made-to-order food, an impressive bar with alcoholic and nonalcoholic options, facial treatments, private rest pods and a game room. With ample seating and spaces to relax, it’s the most well-rounded lounge of the three. However, the Sapphire Lounge often has a waitlist. Be prepared for a potential wait before entering.

How to Access the Chase Sapphire Lounge at LGA
Complimentary access is available to eligible Chase Sapphire Reserve®, Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business℠, Ritz-Carlton™ Credit Card and J.P. Morgan Reserve cardholders. Primary cardholders and authorized users can bring up to two guests at no additional charge, although business employee cardholders don’t receive independent access. Entry requires an eligible boarding pass and qualifying card or Chase-issued Priority Pass Select membership. Access is generally permitted within three hours of departure or five hours before a connecting flight. As of August 15, 2026, other Priority Pass and LoungeKey memberships no longer provide complimentary access. For more details, check out our guides to Chase Sapphire Lounge access. Entry is subject to capacity, and this popular lounge may have a waitlist.
Capital One Landing at LGA
The Capital One Landing at LGA is the newest of the three premium LGA Terminal B lounges, offering a sleek, restaurant-style experience rather than a traditional airport lounge. Created in partnership with José Andrés Group, it features Spanish-inspired tapas, prepared food and an impressive selection of alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks. Guests can grab items from the bar or order made-to-order dishes using a QR code at their seats. During my visit, the food arrived quickly, and the service was friendly. Capital One Landing had my favorite food and drinks of all three lounges, although its restaurant-style seating makes it less ideal for extended relaxation or working before a flight.

How to Access Capital One Landing at LGA
Eligible Capital One Venture X Rewards Credit Card and Capital One Venture X Business primary cardholders receive complimentary access to the Capital One Landing at LGA. You’ll need an eligible same-day boarding pass and qualifying card or digital lounge pass. Guest access and additional charges depend on the card and current access policies. Unlike a traditional lounge, Capital One Landing focuses on elevated dining, making it especially appealing if you want a restaurant-quality meal before your flight.

Which Premium Credit Card Lounge at LGA Is Best?
After visiting all three of these LGA Terminal B Lounges before the same flight, I realized there isn’t one option that’s best for everyone. It comes down to what you want from your airport lounge experience.
| Centurion Lounge | Sapphire Lounge | Capital One Landing | |
|---|---|---|---|
| Food | Chef-curated buffet | Prepared and made-to-order | Prepared food and made-to-order tapas |
| Drinks | Full bar | Extensive alcoholic and NA options | Excellent alcoholic and NA options |
| Seating | Comfortable, traditional | Spacious with varied seating | Restaurant-style |
| Extras | Traditional lounge amenities | Spa treatments, rest pods, game room | Restaurant-focused dining |
| My pick for | Quick visits | Relaxation and amenities | Food and drinks |
Personally, this is how I’d rank them:
- Capital One Landing — Best for Food: If your goal is to enjoy a delicious meal and excellent drinks, Capital One Landing wins. The tapas-style menu, quick service and restaurant atmosphere make it stand out.
- Chase Sapphire Lounge — Best for Relaxing: If you have time to spare, the Sapphire Lounge is my favorite for unwinding. Between the seating options, wellness amenities, game room and made-to-order dining, there’s plenty to enjoy.
- Amex Centurion Lounge — Best for a Short Visit: For a quick stop, the Centurion Lounge keeps things simple. The buffet and comfortable seating make it easy to grab a bite and relax before boarding. It was also the least crowded during my visit, although crowd levels can, of course, vary.

LGA Terminal B Lounges: ToP Thoughts
The three premium card LGA Terminal B Lounges each offer something different. For me, the Capital One Landing wins for food and drinks, the Chase Sapphire Lounge is best for relaxation and amenities, and the Amex Centurion Lounge is ideal for a quick visit. Ultimately, the best lounge depends on what you value most before your flight. And if you have access to all three, why not try a little lounge hopping? Have you visited any of these lounges?
