Current Hyatt Under Canvas Promos
Hyatt's offers page lately is dominated by a particular collection: Under Canvas. These glamping properties are part of the Mr & Mrs Smith brand. Find them near U.S. national parks like Yellowstone, the Grand Canyon and Yosemite. Hyatt describes them as “safari-inspired resorts.” The tents are large enough to fit beds, bathrooms and stylish seating nooks. But otherwise, expect a more rugged setup with limited lighting and pull-chain showers. In-room Wi-Fi and TVs? Under Canvas would never. It's all about stargazing and unplugging. Would you trade the sparse amenities for this unique experience—and the chance to earn some extra points? Let's take a look at the current Hyatt Under Canvas promos.
15% Points Back Offer
- Enroll in the promotion here by Nov. 30, 2026.
- Earn 15% bonus points back when booking points stays from June 18, 2026, to Dec. 1, 2026 at participating Under Canvas properties, ULUM Moab, Bar N Ranch and The Fields of Michigan. Stays must be booked directly through Hyatt.
- Only points stays completed after your promo registration and before Dec. 1 will qualify. (Previously booked stays do not count.)
- All points awarded are bonus points. They may take 2-3 weeks after stay completion to post to your account.
- Promo can't be combined with other offers, promos or discounts.
Because they are Mr & Mrs Smith properties, Under Canvas nights are priced dynamically. That means they usually don't provide the best value for your points. But the new 15% points promo helps make things more interesting. For nights that retail just under or over $200, it's possible to find points rates as low as 16,750 per night. The rebate would effectively reduce this to about 14,237 points. This doesn't factor in the flexibility that points might afford you versus nonrefundable rates, either. While this is still not as strong a CPP as you might find at other Hyatt properties, it's not a poor price for a unique stay. Under Canvas may open up points availability in more remote areas with fewer hotel options, too.

AAdvantage Miles Offer
- Enroll in the promotion here by Sept. 12, 2026 with your AAdvantage number.
- Earn 1 American Airlines AAdvantage® bonus mile per eligible $1 spent on stays from June 5, 2026, to Sept. 13, 2026.
- All 14 Under Canvas locations are eligible, as well as ULUM Moab, Bar N Ranch and The Fields of Michigan and booked through Hyatt after registration.
- Miles earned are in addition to the World of Hyatt base points you'll earn.
- Only stays booked with an eligible rate (including free night award redemptions) count.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count.
- It may take 3-4 weeks after stay completion for points to post to your World of Hyatt and AAdvantage accounts.
You can simultaneously earn AA miles and Hyatt points during your Under Canvas stays this summer. While this is a nice perk and definitely worth enrolling for, earning a meaningful number of miles would require a high-spend and/or longterm stay.

Offer maxes out at 100,000 bonus points total. Points earned are on ToP of the 9x base points World of Hyatt cardmembers earn. Current Hyatt Under Canvas Promos: ToP Thoughts
I'm not sure how many travelers would have Under Canvas on their radar without the continued flood of promos. But as we noted in our previous coverage, national park season would be a good time to dip your toes into glamping, Hyatt-style. It is nice that we can still generally rely on Hyatt to count award stays for promotions; all four promotions are eligible for stays booked on points. (For the cash-based spending promotions, points stays could still earn on room charges.)
