Hyatt Cardmember Under Canvas Promotion
Hyatt announced another cardmember Under Canvas promotion that can be stacked with a previously announced offer. This newest promotion, like it sounds, is for cardmembers only, while the previously announced offer is open to any World of Hyatt member. Under the first promotion, you earn a lump sum of points when you stay at a participating property during the promotion period. This newest promotion, however, offers extra bonus points for every $1 you spend on your World of Hyatt credit card at participating properties. Notably, Hyatt ran this offer previously, and we used it as an opportunity to point out why hotel marketing language can be misleading. While the marketing hasn't changed, we think there is some value in this offer. Especially for anyone already planning an Under Canvas stay, given the stacking potential.

Here are the details for this Hyatt Cardmember Under Canvas Promotion:
- Earn 11x Bonus Points plus 9x Base Points as a World of Hyatt cardmember per dollar spent up to 100,000 bonus points total, at any of the 14 Under Canvas locations, as well as ULUM Moab, The Fields of Michigan, and Bar N Ranch for stays between June 1 and September 8, 2026.

Offer Terms
Here are some notable terms of the Hyatt Cardmember Under Canvas Promotion:
- First, you must hold a personal or business World of Hyatt credit card.
- Register for the promotion between April 1 and June 12, 2026 to participate. You must register before you book your stay.
- Only Eligible Stays at participating locations completed after registration and between June 1 and September 8, 2026 (“Promotion Period”) will be eligible to earn 11 Bonus Points per eligible $1 spent, up to 100,000 Bonus Points. This promotion is in addition to the five (5) Base Points per eligible $1 you can earn as a World of Hyatt member and the four (4) Bonus Points per $1 spent on qualifying purchases when you pay with your World of Hyatt Credit Card.
- For the purpose of this promotion, an “Eligible Night” is defined as any night where a member is paying an Eligible Rate or redeems a free night award.
- Only the room occupied by the member will count towards this promotion.
- Please allow two to three weeks after checkout for Bonus Points to be posted to your World of Hyatt account.

Hyatt Cardmember Under Canvas Promotion: ToP Thoughts
Just like with the other Under Canvas offer, with peak visitors' season at many U.S. National Parks right around the corner, this offer is very timely. And being able to stack the two offers is a nice bonus. Since most of these properties have separate on-site dining and activity options, it is likely that even if you're paying with points you will have some out-of-pocket expenses that you can now earn extra Hyatt points on with this promotion. If you have already booked your rooms to leverage the other promo, you'll need to rebook after registering for this one. At least that's my understanding of the terms.
