Amex Spending Bonus Offers

It looks like the Amex spending bonus offers are back on many accounts. I know I have seen a couple of these on my Membership Rewards earning cards. These spending offers will be located in your Amex Offers section of your accounts. They give you bonus points or statement credits on top of whatever you normally earn from spending on your card. These offers can so bad that they are laughable at times, but there are times where they give you a nice return too. That is especially true if you can pair them up with a welcome offer or some other type of spending offer. Always be stacking after all!

Offer Details

Look in your Amex Offers section for these spending bonus offers. You will need to activate them before completing the required spend to earn the bonus points or cash back. Here are some of the bonuses I have seen:

Amex Spending Bonus Offers: ToP Thoughts

While some of these Amex spending bonus offers won't make sense for people, there are quite a few interesting ones too. If you had the Hilton offer on your Surpass card you could be racking up an extra 32,000 points on the way to earning your $15K free night certificate for example. A lot of the value will depend on which card you get them on. Getting a few more points per dollar on the Blue Business Plus could net a substantial return. Even better if it is an Amex Gold card and you can rack up the spend in a 4x earning category etc. If you see one of these Amex spending bonus offers on your account I would add it even if you don't think you'll use it. Sometimes life happens, and you may be in store for some surprise points down the road. Let me know if you see any offers on your accounts over in the ToP Facebook Group.
