Tech Accessories
There are plenty of tech goodies among our team's Amazon travel finds:
Essential for tracking your checked bags, and not a bad idea to stash inside your carry-on and other valuables too. You can never have too many of these things. Pro tip: The batteries can die pretty quickly, so always check if the batteries need replacing before traveling.
Cord organizers are game-changers for neatly corralling the wires on all your devices’ chargers.
03. Beats Studio Pro – Premium Wireless Over-Ear Headphones
Drown out all the inflight chatter with a sleek pair of noise-canceling headphones.
Always an essential for international travel, this power adapter is top-rated and comes with multiple ports.
05. Twelve South AirFly SE | Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter Adapter
A lot of travelers like this adapter for syncing wireless headphones to the in-flight entertainment system.
Luggage
Here are some backpacks and packing cubes among our team's Amazon travel finds:
01. Travel Backpack
This budget-friendly backpack acts more like a suitcase, with a ton of compartments that can stow a laptop and a weekend’s worth of clothes. It has a separate waterproof, ventilated compartment that comes in clutch for storing a pair of dirty shoes. And if you haven’t sworn off personal-only-item traveling, it fits under the seat on carriers like Ryanair.
Shira loves this backpack, which she says is insane for organization and fits a ton.
03. BAGSMART Compression Packing Cubes
Packing cubes are the key to a tidy suitcase, but these ones have an extra zipper to compress your clothing so you can transport even more.
04. Away Luggage
Many of us on the ToP team are devoted to this brand. The wheels roll as smoothly as buttah, and its lifetime warranty is ToP-notch.
Packing Essentials
Here are some more essentials Amazon travel finds:
01. Loop Ear Plugs
These earplugs could pass for jewelry but are a super comfortable way to block out harmful noise levels from concerts or yes, planes. In recent years, the brand has introduced versions for sleeping, too.
02. Dr. Scholl’s Time Off Sneakers – Women's and Men's
I scoured TikTok reviews in search of tennis shoes that could handle Europe-levels of walking but were still versatile enough to wear with a mix of outfits. These have come with me to multiple countries—and many NYC trips, too. Derrick says he owns and has put a few hundred miles on the men's version, too.
03. Owala FreeSip Stainless Steel Water Bottle 32 oz Putting Green
A trip to a lounge isn’t complete if you haven’t refilled your water bottle before exiting. (Especially if the lounge has sparkling water!) Owala is an excellent brand.
04. Waterpik Cordless Advanced 2.0 Water Flosser
I never travel without my cordless water flosser.
A necessity if you’re prone to spills like several of our team members. (We won’t name any names!)
06. Plus Pen Style Non-Stick Compact TSA Twiggy Scissors with Cover
These TSA-compliant scissors are a great find of Sarah's. They fold up for easy transport and have been so handy to have.
