Amazon Amex Membership Rewards Offer
The Amazon pay with points & cash back offers are a great way to save money at Amazon. We've previously covered the pay with Amex Rewards Dollars offer, and now we have the return of an Amazon Amex Membership Rewards offer. We have a feeling this will be the most popular of them all. Offers vary, but the most consistent offers I have seen either require 714 Membership Rewards points or 1,429 Membership Rewards points (this is the offer that I have). While we always wish the offer still only required 1 point that these offers used to require in the past, this could still be a good deal for you. Let's dive into the details. Offer Details
Amazon customers can get up to 50% off when they use just 714 Membership Rewards or 1,429 Membership Rewards points at checkout. That is if you are targeted at least. Here are some of the different offers people have been targeted for (H/T DoC):
- 50% on your next purchase (up to $80 savings)
- 40% on your next purchase (up to $60 savings)
- 40% on your next purchase (up to $40 savings)
- 15% on your next purchase (up to $15 savings)

- You have to have your Amex card set up to pay with points to be eligible. If you don't have that set up already you can do that here.
Before you dive in, consider how much you value your Membership Rewards and the required redemption amount to get the discount. Personally, I value Membership Rewards around two cents per point, so at the lowest offer this discount likely isn't worth it.

This pay with points Amazon offers used to work on third party gift cards, but that doesn't seem to be the case any more (at least in my experience). You will need to find some eligible items shipped and sold by Amazon that will count instead.
Amazon Amex Membership Rewards Offer: ToP Thoughts
The Membership Rewards offer is the most popular of all of the Amazon pay with points deals. It is a currency most people have in their card lineup, and it seems like they routinely target more people than the other deals.
