Wells Fargo Hotel Deals
When you hear “Wells Fargo” you initial reaction is probably not associated with lucrative award travel cards, right? I know it historically wasn't for me. But that changed when Wells Fargo entered the lucrative world of transferrable currency. You can check all of Wells Fargo's transfer partners on our handy Partner Transfer Tool. Now, Wells Fargo hotel deals make some of their cards even more worthwhile. I go over all the details, including which cards make the most sense for you. UPDATE 5/31/26: Updated for deals through 6/30/26.
Wells Fargo Award Travel Cards
For us award travelers, there are three main Wells Fargo cards to look at:
- Wells Fargo Attune®️ Card: this card earns 4%/4x in various categories and has no annual fee
- Wells Fargo Autograph®️ Card: this card earns unlimited 3X points on restaurants, travel, gas stations, transit, popular streaming services, and phone plans and has no annual fee. For those folks with the old Bilt Mastercard (RIP), you were converted to this card, if you opted to keep it open
- Wells Fargo Autograph JourneySM Card: earns unlimited 5X points with hotels, 4X points with airlines, 3X points on other travel and restaurants, all with a $95 annual fee
While these cards fly under the radar, you can quickly see they offer outsized returns for the price of the annual fee. Of course, always consider your 5/24 status before diving in!
Wells Fargo Cashback Deal Quirk
Like most banks and credit card programs, Wells Fargo offers cashback deals for its credit cards and bank accounts. The beauty of Wells Fargo's system, however, is once you activate an offer, it is valid on all your accounts. That's right, activate an offer once and it works on whatever credit or debit card you swipe. I wish all banks and credit card programs would adopt this system, but it leads to less breakage and probably costs more.
Wells Fargo Hotel Deals
I'd started seeing Wells Fargo hotel deals pop up in my account in December 2025. I didn't think much of it, as it didn't really apply to me and I figured it was a one-off. However, new offers arrived in the January 2026. Then again in February. So now it seems like this is a regular thing, at least we can hope so.
For these deals, remember that the Autograph Journey earns 5X on hotel stays, while the Autograph card earns 3X. Both are competitive, especially when stacking with hotel deals.
Current deals:
- Great Wolf Lodge: 10% cash back, up to $48 max, on a purchase of $100+, expires 6/30/26
- Hilton: 10% cash back, up to $65 max, on a purchase of $100+, expires 6/30/26
- Hyatt House/Hyatt Studios: 7% cash back, up to $28 max, on a purchase of $100+, expires 6/30/26
- Hyatt Place: 7% cash back, up to $28 max, on a purchase of $100+, expires 6/30/26
- Marriott Bonvoy: 10% cash back, up to $80 max, on a purchase of $100+, expires 6/30/26
Terms & Conditions of the Deals
Each different deal has its own terms & conditions. Most or all of these offers indicate that are good for in-store purchases in the USA only or on the USA website and that purchase must be finalized by the expiration date. Be sure to check the offer terms before attempting a purchase, especially if an international hotel stay.
Wells Fargo Hotel Deals: ToP Thoughts
Anytime you can save money, it is a good thing. While we always like to use points to fund our travels, sometimes a cash deal makes a lot of sense. With Wells Fargo hotel deals on your credit card, purchasing through a shopping portal, like Rakuten or Rove Miles, and perhaps stacking with a lucrative hotel promo (hello, Hyatt Place, Hyatt House and Hyatt Studio), you can get a great deal.
