Delta Award Availability to Seoul
Delta has tons of award availability to Seoul, South Korea (ICN) out of Detroit (FTW) in business class for January and February 2024. Delta does not publish an award chart and instead uses dynamic pricing. This means their award prices are not fixed, and instead fluctuate widely, and often cost a lot. This can make redeeming Delta SkyMiles pretty hard. But this is a great use of SkyMiles if you have them burning a hole in your pocket, so let's get to it!

ToggleAward Availability to Seoul in Delta One Details
Delta operates an A350-900 on this nearly 16-hour flight. Delta One suites offer lie flat beds and full-height privacy doors.
We are seeing wide open availability from Detroit (DTW) to Incheon (ICN) almost every single day in January and February 2024, as you can see in the screenshot below. In fact, we're seeing as many as 8 seats available (again, look at the search prompt in the screenshot).
We checked with SkyTeam members Virgin Atlantic and Air France/KLM but their websites do not show this availability. So the way to book this is directly through Delta. Delta is a transfer partner of American Express, but Amex does charge an excise tax on transfers to Delta of $0.0006 per point (with maximum fee of $99).
Unfortunately, we are not seeing availability on the return leg, including to any of Delta's other hubs.
Delta Award Availability to Seoul: ToP Thoughts
If you have a lot of SkyMiles and have been struggling to find a use, this is an excellent option. Topping off your SkyMiles account with some Amex Membership Rewards could also make sense if the math works out for you.
