In the words of Kevin McCallister, “This is it. Don’t get scared now.” The season of frantic last minute holiday shopping is upon us, so we put together a ToP gift guide with present ideas for your favorite traveler. (Or just for you!) These are products I’ve either personally tested over the years or well-reviewed items I have on my wishlist this year. Note that prices and sales will be evolving rapidly over the next few days, so you may find lower sales beyond our links. We appreciate the support if you choose to use our links! But we will always advocate for you to get the best deals possible. Either way, browse our travel-themed gift guide and get something nice for your friends and family. Gift Ideas: Luggage
First up we have the one thing every traveler has: luggage! Here are some of our favorite options for carry-ons, backpacks and even vanity cases.
01. Away Luggage
Many of us on the ToP team are devoted to this brand. The wheels roll as smoothly as buttah, and its lifetime warranty is ToP-notch.
02. Cadence Parcel + Travel Containers
This TSA-friendly cosmetics bag is sweet because it can be used two ways. Fold it open to use as a tray on your flight or in your hotel, and then seal it closed for travel with its unique magnetic closure. Pair it with the brand’s reusable containers. They’re an investment, but meant to be kept forever and refilled with your favorite shampoos, sunscreens and vitamins.
03. ETOILE – Duo Vanity Case + Cotopaxi Nido Accessory Bag
If you’re bringing larger cosmetics or hair tools in your checked bag, Etoile’s two-tiered cases are stylish, good quality and can fit a ton. My P2 loves his Cotopaxi case for cosmetics.
04. Travel Backpack
This budget-friendly backpack acts more like a suitcase, with a ton of compartments that can stow a laptop and a weekend’s worth of clothes. It has a separate waterproof, ventilated compartment that comes in clutch for storing a pair of dirty shoes. And if you haven’t sworn off personal-only-item traveling, it fits under the seat on carriers like Spirit and Ryanair.

Gift Ideas: Travel Tech
Technology is a great way to make life easier. There's lots of technology available in our travel-themed gift guide. Whether that means making that flight more enjoyable, making sure you have what you need to work on the go or just to ensure you keep track of everything you need. Here are our favorite travel tech options.
01. Twelve South AirFly SE | Bluetooth Wireless Audio Transmitter Adapter
A lot of travelers like this adapter for syncing wireless headphones to the in-flight entertainment system.
02. Apple AirTag 4-Pack
Essential for tracking your checked bags, and not a bad idea to stash inside your carry-on and other valuables too. You can never have too many of these things. Pro tip: The batteries can die pretty quickly, so always check if the batteries need replacing before traveling. Southwest lost my P2’s bag, and to make a bad situation worse, he realized too late that the AirTag inside had a dead battery. We never got that bag back.
03-04. Belkin Portable Charger Power Bank for iPhone/Android and Silicone Cable Ties
A backup battery is good for peace of mind, and I like this one’s slim profile. Cord organizers are game-changers for neatly corralling the wires on all your devices’ chargers.
05. HIGHTIDE Nähe General Purpose Cases
I cannot get enough of this Japanese brand’s clear pouches. I have 3 in different sizes and colors that I use to organize my chargers, batteries and camera equipment. There are so many things you can do with them.
06. Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 – Wireless Noise Cancelling Workout Earbuds
Are you team wired or wireless headphones? My Beats have made me come around to the latter.

Gift Ideas: On The Go
What about once you have boots on the ground? Sometimes you need a few different handy options to ensure that you can see and do everything you want to do while on the go. Here are our favorite options to help you out there.
01. Loop Ear Plugs
These earplugs could pass for jewelry but are a super comfortable way to block out harmful noise levels from concerts or yes, planes. In recent years, the brand has introduced versions for sleeping, too.
02. Lemme Sleep Gummies
YMMV on melatonin and magnesium gummies, but these have worked really well for me personally. I am a light sleeper, and they’ve lulled me to sleep on planes and in loud hotel rooms alike.
03. Moshi Digits Winter Touchscreen Gloves
Why does keeping your hands warm always seem to come at the expense of being able to scroll on your phone? No more. I just placed an order for these cozy gloves that the reviews say can do both.
04. Owala FreeSip Insulated Stainless Steel Water Bottle with Straw, 24 Oz.
A trip to a lounge isn’t complete if you haven’t refilled your water bottle before exiting. Love the colors on these.
05. Dr. Scholl’s Time Off Sneakers – Women's and Men's
A couple years ago, I scoured TikTok reviews in search of tennis shoes that could handle Europe-levels of walking but were still versatile enough to wear with a mix of outfits. These have come with me to multiple countries—and many NYC trips, too. Derrick says he owns and has put a few hundred miles on the men's version, too.
ToP Thoughts: Travel-themed Gift Guide
The holidays can be overwhelming, but gifting is a little more fun in the points and miles world—especially if you're working on a SUB or find deals you can stack. Happy shopping!
