This is a targeted offer and applies specifically to Amex's Platinum Member Airfares™, reduced fares that are available to those who hold the American Express Platinum Card® or The Business Platinum Card® from American Express. Here’s a breakdown of how to use this new Platinum Member Airfares Amex offer:
- Enroll in the offer on your eligible card account.
- Spend a minimum of $1,000 USD in one or more qualifying purchases with Platinum Member Airfares™ and earn a one-time $200 statement credit.
- Eligible bookings must be for flights marketed by select participating airlines, listed below.
- Book through American Express Travel at AmexTravel.com, through the Amex Travel App™ or by calling the number on the back of your card.
- Qualifying purchases must total at least $1,000 by 10/31/2026. Flights must be charged in USD.
- Book on the Platinum Member Airfares page or through Amex Travel by filtering for Platinum Member Airfares.

Here are the terms to keep in mind on this new Platinum Member Airfares Amex offer:
- Offer valid only for Platinum Member Airfares™ bookings for flights marketed by the following airlines:
- Air Canada, Air New Zealand, Alaska Airlines, American Airlines, Austrian Airlines, British Airways, Brussels Airlines, Delta Air Lines, Iberia, Japan Airlines, Lufthansa Airlines, Qantas Airways, Singapore Airlines, Swiss International Airlines and Virgin Atlantic Airways.
- Exclusions: Flights booked directly with airlines or through other third-party sites and apps are not eligible. Flights paid for before the promotion start date or after the promotion end date will not qualify.
- Statement credits will typically post within 30 days after a qualifying purchase, though they may take up to 90 days after the offer end date in some cases.
- Credits may not be received or may be reversed if an eligible purchase is returned, partially returned, refunded, canceled or modified.
- Enrollment is limited, and the offer is nontransferable. Limit of one statement credit per eligible cardmember account. Cards issued outside of the U.S. are not eligible.
