American Renames Its Meal Vouchers — View from the Wing
American Airlines has renamed its meal vouchers to reflect that they are “food/beverage credits” rather than intended to cover an entire meal. While American isn't unique in offering this dollar amount when there are delays, it seems pretty universal that it doesn't cover the cost of a typical meal.
New Radisson and Finnair Partnership Allows for Two-Way Points Transfers — Head for Points
A new partnership between Radisson hotels and Finnair allows for two-way transfers between the two programs. And because of the overall flexibility within the Avios program, of which Finnair is one participant, there are many options for obtaining and redeeming these points. For the most part, the Radisson program isn't particularly interesting, and the transfer rate to Radisson from Avios is particularly bad. But if you have Radisson points and would rather have Avios, this partnership could make sense. There's also a status match opportunity.
