There is an up to $2,000 Citi business checking bonus available that is one of the better business checking offers out there. The downside of the offer is it is for in branch only. There is an online landing page, but it still prompts you to go into branch once you fill out your information. This appears to be only available in certain areas, so you may need to be somewhat near a branch to be eligible. UPDATE 10/7/26: This bonus offer was set to expire this week, but it has been extended to January 6, 2027.
Offer Details
- Open a new CitiBusiness® Streamlined or Flexible Checking Account by January 6, 2027.
- Streamlined is the one you want to sign up for.
- Within 45 days of account opening, make one or more qualifying deposits of $5,000 or more in New-to-Citibank funds to eligible accounts
- Deposit enough New-to-Citibank Funds within 45 calendar days of account opening to reach your desired bonus tier.
- Starting on Day 46, maintain that qualifying balance level for another 45 consecutive calendar days.
- Your bonus will be deposited to your Citibank business checking account as a credit within 30 days from the end of the month in which you complete all requirements.
- The Cash Bonus will be reported to the IRS as interest, in the year received, as required by applicable law, and you may receive a 1099-INT form.
- The offer cannot be combined with another CitiBusiness Banking checking offer and is non-transferable.

The offer is available to new CitiBusiness Banking customers and existing CitiBusiness Banking customers who haven’t had a Citibank business checking account during the 180 days immediately before opening the new account. Accounts subject to backup withholding are also ineligible. There’s a limit of one cash bonus per customer per offer, but each independently operated business with its own unique Tax ID is treated as a separate customer.

Citi Business Checking Bonus: ToP Thoughts
This is a great Citi business checking bonus if you are eligible. The $20,000 deposit for $750 was the sweet spot with the old offer, but they broke down the levels more this time. Now, the $50,000 deposit level for $1,000 is likely the best option to try to go for. If short on cash, the $5,000 offer is decent too.
