Alaska LATAM Singapore Award Flights
Two of the best ways to use your Alaska Airlines Atmos Rewards points will soon be no more. As first noticed by One Mile at a Time, Alaska is significantly scaling back its partnership with Singapore Airlines and ending its partnership with Latin American carrier LATAM altogether. Come Oct. 1, 2025, you'll no longer be able to redeem Alaska points for flights on either airline.

There's more to unpack with these changes to two of Alaska's partnerships. Alaska's loyalty program — now called Atmos Rewards — is one of the most valuable of any of the U.S. airlines. Alaska is a member of the Oneworld airline alliance, but the Seattle-based airline also has a robust network of non-alliance partners like LATAM and Singapore. Going forward, you'll have fewer ways to redeem your Alaska points.
Alaska Is Ending LATAM Partnership
Alaska quietly updated its airline partners page with the news that the airline's partnership with LATAM is coming to an end. This is a huge bummer, as Alaska points were one of the best ways to book LATAM business class to South America. For example, you could fly from Atlanta (ATL) to Lima (LIM) or Santiago (SCL) for just 35,000 miles in business. Longer flights, such as between São Paulo (GRU) and Miami (MIA) or even Boston (BOS), cost 50,000 miles in business. But the good news is, you still have until Oct. 1 to take advantage of these redemptions.

Any LATAM award tickets booked prior to Oct. 1 will remain valid, Alaska says.
For earning Alaska points on LATAM flights, Alaska has a handy chart outlining what's changing and when.

For flights on or after Jan. 1, 2026, you'll need to submit a request to credit any LATAM flights to your Atmos Rewards account. You'll no longer receive points automatically, even if your Atmos Rewards membership number is attached to your reservation.
Alaska Partnership With Singapore Airlines Scaled Back
Luckily, Alaska isn't scrapping its partnership with Singapore Airlines. But it is scaling it back considerably. As of Oct. 1, you won't be able to book Singpore flights with Alaska points. However, any Singapore award tickets booked prior to that date will still be valid.
You'll still earn Alaska points on Singapore flights, but even that is changing slightly. Here's a chart outlining how you'll earn Alaska points going forward.

The gist: Going forward, you'll only earn Alaska points on Singapore flights booked through Alaska's own website.
