Activate Sapphire Reserve Card Perks
In a somewhat unique instance, Chase decided against giving legacy cardholders most of the new credit card perks with their recent refresh. Usually current cardholders get their cake and get to eat it too when a card adds new perks. Chase decided to hold off on giving current cardholders access this time around though. That was until now! The wait is over and it is time to activate Sapphire Reserve card perks on your account.
Which Credit Card Perks Do You Now Have Access To?
Here is a list of new Chase Sapphire Reserve card perks that you now have access too and need to activate. Cardmembers who signed up for their card on, or after, June 23, 2005 have already had access to these new benefits. People that had the card before June 23rd can now activate the following:
- Sapphire Reserve Exclusive Tables $300 dining credit ($150 every 6 months)
- You have until 12/31/25 to use the $150 for the rest of this year.
- $500 Edit Credit (broken up into $250 every 6 months, but that is changing next year)
- You have until 12/31/25 to use the $250 for the rest of this year.
- $300 credit at StubHub or Viagogo
- You have until 12/31/25 to use the $150 for the rest of this year.
- Apple TV+ & Apple Music Subscroptions

Many of these credits will reset on January 1st, so you can take advantage of them again. Be sure to check out our Chase Sapphire credit tracker sheet too to stay on ToP of everything.

Activate Your Benefits Now
Some of these Sapphire Reserve card perks require activation, so you will want to do that now. I would give it a day or so before you try to use them, just to ensure they are properly added to your account. You should only need to do this once, and not each and every year. I would activate everything, even if you think you won't use it, because you just never know. There is nothing worse than using a card perk, and not getting credit for it because you didn't push an activation button.

Activate Sapphire Reserve Card Perks: ToP Thoughts
I could understand making legacy cardholders wait until July 1st to activate their card perks. That would ensure they couldn't double dip them this year. To only give them two months to maximize the perks instead is kind of dirty. I get it that legacy cardholders are still paying the lower annual fee for the card, but what was the point here really? Making them wait until some made up date in October is just to cause breakage for these perks. Hopefully you can still make hay with the time you have left though. Just make sure to activate Sapphire Reserve card perks before going out in the wild to use them. Let me know which new benefit is your favorite over in the ToP Facebook Group.
