When Do Venture X Anniversary Points Post
After having the Venture X Business card for a little over a year now I was eagerly awaiting my 10,000 point anniversary bonus to post. When do Venture X anniversary points post though? How long will it take for those points to hit my account? I decided to share my experience in case you were wondering the same thing. I also grabbed a data point on the personal Venture X card too to compare them.
What Is The Venture X Anniversary Bonus Points?
One of the perks of the Venture X card, and the Venture X Business card, is the 10,000 bonus points you get each anniversary. It doesn't kick in until you pay your second annual fee after having the card for 12 months. It will then post every subsequent year. These anniversary points, along with the $300 travel credit, help offset the $395 annual fee. If you are able to easily use both they pretty much cover the cost of the card. Although, using the portal to book travel can be tricky at times.
How Long Did The Anniversary Points Take To Post?
Here is my timeline on how long it took for the Venture X Business anniversary points to post:
- My Venture X Business card annual fee posted on October 14th
- My Venture X Business card anniversary points posted on November 8th
So about three and a half weeks. Not as quickly as I would have liked, but not bad overall, especially when compared to some other anniversary perks.

The timeframe was a little quicker for the personal card. It only took two and a half to three weeks versus three and a half weeks on my Venture X Business.
It appears that annual fees always post on Saturday though for both cards.
Anniversary Bonus Points: ToP Thoughts
If you recently grabbed the increased offer on the Venture X Business card, or that referral only Venture X 90K offer, you may be wondering if you are going to keep the card long term. If you can maximize the card's perks, including the 10,000 anniversary bonus points, I think it will be a long term keeper for many.
