If the last few weeks of summer have you thinking about your next trip, it couldn't be a better time to add some tours to the itinerary. There are several offers for the popular travel marketplace Viator across shopping portals today. Score up to 40% via Capital One Shopping, as first reported by ToP Facebook group member Melissa M. I am also seeing 30X / 30% via Capital One Offers in my account. (Offers are typically targeted and can fluctuate rapidly, so you may see different offers.) Turn a vacation expense into extra points or cash back for your next trip. Win-win! Let's take a look at the Viator shopping offers.

Here are the details for today's Viator shopping offers:
- Capital One Offers
- Up to 30% cash back or 30X Capital One Miles
- If you're new to Capital One Offers, learn more here. You must be an eligible Capital One cardholder or bank account holder to access offers, but you do not have to use a Capital One card for online offers. (Unless you are using an in-store card-linked offer.)
- However, note that tracking for these offers can be finicky. YMMV.

- Rakuten
- Up to 12% cash back or 12X Amex Membership Rewards or Bilt Rewards.

Offer Terms
Here are some notable terms for both offers:
- Capital One Offers:
- Limited availability; rate may change. (Capital One Offers are known to come and go quickly.)
- Not eligible for rentals, hotels, restaurants, theme parks, flights, virtual tours, and/or cancelled bookings.
- Other exclusions: Purchases or redemption of gift cards; app sales; any tours or experiences tracked to the Viator Travel Agent Program.
- Reserve Now-Pay Later bookings must be paid for at least 24 hours to receive payout. Use of promotional codes not provided by Capital One may invalidate your offer.
- Not eligible for canceled and/or refunded tours.
- Capital One Offers recommends avoiding ad blockers, VPNs, other cash back websites and extensions, and in-app purchases in order to improve tracking.
- Reservations must be completed within one year of booking. Payouts are typically issued within 45 days after completed tours, “but may take longer in some cases.”

- Rakuten:
- Cash back will be paid out on completed tours only. Canceled and/or refunded tours will not be eligible.
- Cash back is not available if card-linked offers, discount codes or staff and student discount codes are used. Use of coupon/promotional codes not listed on Rakuten may void cash back.
- Other exclusions: Theme park purchases and virtual tours; bookings made via Viator Travel Agent Program; gift vouchers or purchases made with gift vouchers.
- Purchases must be made through viator.com to be eligible for cash back (app-to-app sales are not eligible). Purchase must be completed in one session. After landing on the Viator website, ensure that you complete your session without navigating through any other links, clearing cookies if necessary. This will ensure that your booking tracks correctly.
Viator Shopping Offers: ToP Thoughts
Today is a great day to book tours and activities on your next trip. The 30X/30% and 40% offers are among some of the highest we've seen for Viator. You could also stack your purchase by activating any targeted offers available on your card(s). (Chase and Amex both have ones floating around right now, for example.) There are also offers through Rove and airline shopping portals, though they aren't quite as high. To decide which portal to use, weigh which currency is most useful to you right now.
