United Mile Play Offers

A new round of United Mile Play offers went out this week. These are kind of like spending bonuses on credit cards. The difference is you can earn additional miles on your next flight spend instead of credit card spend. That spending requirement depends on your account though, since these are targeted offers and each United MileagePlus member could see something different.

Examples Of Some Current Offers

Here are some of the offers that have been reported so far (HT DoC)

Book and take 1 trip of $275, earn 5x up to 15,000 miles
Book and take 1 trip of $100 or more to earn 3,000 miles
Book and take 1 trip of $200 or more to get 5x bonus miles up to 12,000.
Book and take a trip 1 time for $250+ to get 5,500 miles.
Book and take 1 trip of $200 or more in a premium seat to get 5,000 miles.
Book and take a trip 2 times at $100 or more each time to get 2,500 miles.
Book and take 2 trips of $175 or more each to get 3,300 miles.
Book and take 2 trips of $200 or more each to get 11,000 miles.
Book and take 2 trips of $150 or more each to get 4,100 miles.
Book and take 3 trips of $200 or more each to get 12,000 miles.
Book and take 4 trips of $400 or more each in a premium seat to get 42,000 miles.
Book and take 2 trips of $700 or more each in a premium seat to get 35,000 miles.
Book and take 1 trip of $275 or more in a premium seat to get 5,800 miles.

Terms For United Mile Play Offers

Here are some notable terms:

Only transactions initiated after registration and completed on or prior to September 13, 2024 will qualify toward satisfaction of the offer requirements.
Registrant must complete all activity specified in the offer to receive bonus award miles. No partial bonuses.
Bonus award miles may only be earned once.

I always love little promotions like these United Mile Play offers. We have been seeing less and less of them over the years, so it is good to see United still rolling them out. If you have an upcoming flight with United already scheduled then this could work into some unexpected bonus points. If your United Mile Play offers are good enough then you will want to include it in your calculations when deciding who to book for upcoming travel. Just be sure that you don't make bad decisions chasing miles.
