Check your accounts! The newest batch of United Mile Play offers has landed. Via targeted offers that vary by account, these promos offer a chance to earn extra miles after completing certain activities. Usually, the offers encourage you to take trips or book premium seats. But this round of promos is doubling down on the airline's recent program overhaul, as it aims to coax customers to open a United co-branded credit card. Let's take a look at the new United Mile Play offers—and the incentives they may offer. UPDATE 7/31/26: More offers are going out. Please report your offer in the ToP Facebook Group.

New United Mile Play Offers

If you're targeted, the new United Mile Play offers run through Oct. 5, 2026. While the offers announced earlier this month focused more on marketing registrations and credit card applications, this round includes more of the traditional travel-focused United Mile Play activities. Here is mine:

Terms for the United Mile Play Offers

Here are some notable terms of the United Mile Play offers, but they may vary based on the personalized offers you find in your account:

  • Only transactions initiated after registration and completed on or prior to Aug. 28, 2026, or Oct. 5, 2026, will qualify.
  • Expect to receive bonus award miles after completing each action and six to eight weeks after the promo ends.
  • A “trip” is a unique travel itinerary documented by United with a confirmation number. The trip must be booked after registration date and completed before the challenge end date.
  • A minimum spend before taxes and fees is required on each “trip,” with amounts varying by offer.
    • The final fare amount will be used to determine satisfaction of offer requirements, including itinerary changes that result in an increase or decrease to the fare and paid upgrades that result in an increase to the fare.
  • MileagePlus account must be in good standing. Member must reside in the 50 United States or the District of Columbia, or have a U.S. military address.
  • To qualify for the marketing text messages offer, you must opt in through the offer and reply YES within 24 hours of receiving the automated text. Phone number must match the one linked to your MileagePlus account. Only action taken after promo registration qualifies.
  • Miles do not count toward Premier status or Million Miler Status and do not apply to class-of-service bonus miles, Premier bonus miles or promotional Premier qualifying miles.

New Cardmember Offer Terms

To qualify for the new cardmember offer, you must apply and be approved for a new United Chase credit card. Your application must be submitted before Aug. 28, 2026 (or the date noted in your offer). Your new account must be opened after promotion registration. Eligible cards include:

United Mile Play Offers: ToP Thoughts

The newer offers going out look more like the trip-focused United Mile Play Offers we are used to. If you got any of the earlier offers, the marketing and Lyft promos should equate to easy miles. Otherwise, United otherwise remains laser-focused on steering customers toward opening its credit cards. If you are under 5/24, a United co-branded credit card is increasingly worthy of your consideration. Recent program changes afford cardholders better earning rates on revenue fares, savings on award flights and access to additional saver fare inventory. This promo is a pretty nice cherry on ToP. The offer I received would be worth an extra 20,000 points just for opening a card, if all my other activities were completed too. Unfortunately, the program changes have locked out many who are over 5/24 and are unable to get a card. What offers are you seeing on your accounts? Tell us over in the ToP Facebook Group.
