Chase Sapphire Preferred Referrals

On July 30, 2026, the publicly available sign-up bonus for the Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card ($95 annual fee) decreased from 100,000 Ultimate Rewards after $5,000 spend in 3 months to 75,000 Ultimate Rewards after $5,000 spend. While this is the standard offer, and it still remains among our ToP Ranked cards this month, the 25% higher sign up bonus was quite nice! Days after the public sign up-bonus decreased, Chase gave a little surprise: Chase Sapphire Preferred 100K referrals remain available.

Current Sapphire Preferred Referral Offer

Even though the publicly available offer decreased, personal referrals for the Chase Sapphire Preferred still have a 100K offer. That's right: There are still Chase Sapphire 100K referrals, offering 100,000 Ultimate Rewards after $5,000 spend in 3 months. If you are eligible for this sign-up bonus (i.e. you are under 5/24 and you have not earned a signup bonus on a CSP before), it is time to grab this offer before it is gone. Remember, you can now hold both a Sapphire Preferred and a Chase Sapphire Reserve at the same time. However, you may not be able to get a sign-up bonus on a card you've held before.

Chase Sapphire Preferred Referrals: ToP Thoughts

This is at least the second time we can remember Chase leaving referrals elevated after the public offer ends. If eligible for this offer, grab it while it lasts. We do not know when we will see another elevated offer on this ToP recommended card. And if you think the Sapphire Reserve would be the better choice for you, it too is offering a 100,000-point welcome offer right now.
