- Eligible nights from July 1, 2026 and Sept. 7, 2026 will qualify. For an eligible stay that continues beyond Sept. 7, the stay must be completed by March 7, 2027.

New Hyatt 2K Bonus Points Promo: ToP Thoughts
Hyatt is finally throwing out a bit of a bone following the devaluation. This marks its first promotion in a while that's broadly applicable to global Hyatt properties. (Rather than promos for specific brands like Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios, Hyatt Place and Hyatt Select and Under Canvas.) It comes with the caveat that earning won't start until after your second stay. Ideally, you'll want a 1-night stay booked somewhere first to kickstart your earning on your following stays. (For example: If you have an 8-night stay coming up and it's your first Hyatt stay during the promotion period, you'd be better off tacking on a 1-night stay elsewhere first if you want to use the promo.) After that, I'd think regular Hyatt award travelers will be able to earn on this promo. The 8,000-point cap is a bit of a bummer, but hey—it's certainly better than nothing.
