New Citi Travel Offer
Select cardholders are being targeted for a new Citi Travel offer for up to $100 in savings on hotel bookings. If you stack this with a hotel credit on a card like the Citi Strata Premier℠ or the Citi Strata Elite℠, this could be a great way to further enhance the savings from those credits. While we regularly list reasons not to use travel portals, sometimes card incentives like this can make it worth it. Let's take a look at how to maximize the new Citi Travel offer. If you're targeted for the new Citi Travel offer, a banner will appear when you click on the Citi Travel portal or “Rewards & Offers” and then “Offers for You” on the desktop website. You can also locate the offer in the app by clicking on “Book Travel” or “Offers.” It may also appear in your merchant offers. Here are the key details:
- There may be several versions of this offer floating around, such as:
- Enjoy $100 off a one-time hotel stay of $500 or more at select properties when booking through Citi Travel®, or
- Enjoy $75 off a one-time hotel stay of $400 or more at select properties when booking through Citi Travel®, or
- Enjoy 10% off a one-time hotel stay, up to $50 off, at select properties, when booking through Citi Travel®.
- The promotion will be automatically applied at the time of booking.
- Offer expires 09/30/2026 at 11:59 pm ET. See full terms below.
Terms & Conditions
Note these terms & conditions of the new Citi Travel offer:
- Valid for one hotel booking made between 09/01/2026, 6:00 am ET, and 09/30/2026, 11:59 pm ET.
- No minimum hotel nights required. (Though other card perks may require a minimum stay.)
- Complete stays must be prepaid through Citi Travel (powered by Rocket Travel by Agoda) or 833-737-1288. Reservations made through any other party or channel aren't eligible.
- This offer is non-transferable. It can only be used by the recipient of the offer and with the card you selected when the offer was received.
- Reservations must be made by the primary cardmember but can be in the name of either the primary cardmember or another person.
- Cannot be applied to existing bookings made before 09/01/2026.
- Only valid at participating properties.
- This is a one-time offer. If the reservation is canceled, it will not be available to use again.
Stacking Possibilities
Previous Citi Travel offers like this one could be paired with credits already built into some Citi cards. So if you have the Citi Strata Premier℠, it's worth trying to stack it with the annual $100 off a $500+ single hotel stay. If you've got the Citi Strata Elite℠, try it with the $300 hotel credit for a stay of two nights or more. The cards' included credits and this offer both apply at checkout. (See below for a test booking I ran with a previous $50 off $300 offer.) The checkout application eliminates some of the guesswork of waiting for a statement credit to post, making these deals super easy to use. Simply add the hotel you're eyeing to your cart and begin the checkout process. You'll be able to easily see your exact savings and the total cost before confirming your booking.
New Citi Travel Offer: ToP Thoughts
I really like that there's a long window to use this offer. It's nice to have a whole month to figure out if/how to use it. A $100 discount isn't super significant on its own and likely wouldn't be worth using the portal. But it gets much better if you haven't used your annual credit(s) yet and are able to stack them with the offer. If you have an offer on the premium card, for example, you can save on your booking from this deal and also take advantage of your $300 credit. Sounds like a good way to level up this perk a bit!
