There is a new IHG Amex Offer that dropped today that could save you $50 off your next stay at an IHG property. It will work towards room rate or anything charged back to your room while on property. That makes this a pretty valuable offer even when you are traveling on an award stay. Offer valid for stays at participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts properties in the US, Canada, Mexico and Caribbean.
Reservations must be made directly through IHG online at IHG.com, by calling 1-877-424-2449, or via the IHG® App.
Excludes Holiday Inn Resort Grand Cayman, Kimpton Seafire Resort + Spa, The Venetian® Resort Las Vegas, The Palazzo® at the Venetian® Resort Las Vegas, IHG® Army Hotels, and Iberostar Beachfront Resorts.
Not valid for gift cards, reservations partially paid for with IHG One Rewards points, and purchase of IHG One Reward points.
Qualifying purchase means a purchase at a participating IHG® Hotels & Resorts property made during the offer period with your enrolled American Express Card and which is in an amount totaling at least $250 USD as posted to your account, following conversion from a foreign currency, if applicable, in accordance with your Cardmember Agreement.
Offer only valid on room rate and room charges.

IHG Amex Offer: ToP Thoughts

If you are targeted for this IHG Amex Offer it should be a pretty easy one to use. That is assuming you have upcoming travel where an IHG branded hotel would work, or that you already have a stay booked. If your stay is booked on points then remember that anything billed back to your room will trigger this Amex Offer at checkout too. That should be fairly easy to maximize if staying at a resort or in a big city etc. It would be much more difficult to do something similar at a highway exit Holiday Inn Express for sure.
