Hyatt Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Partnership

This one has been a long time coming. I am sure you, like me, forgot completely about Hyatt's partnership with Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts. It was announced way back in October of 2024 after all. The good news is it appears that Hyatt is finally approaching the finish line on adding 22 all inclusive resorts into the fold. Starting March 24, 2026 you will finally be able to earn and redeem at these hotels.

What Will This Partnership Bring

Here is what Hyatt had to say about the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts addition:

Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts will be joining World of Hyatt on March 24, 2026, allowing members to earn and redeem at 22 lively all-inclusive resorts across the Dominican Republic, Jamaica, Mexico, Tenerife and more.

Once integrated, World of Hyatt members can enjoy World of Hyatt benefits including:

  • 5 Base Points per eligible $1 USD spent on room rates
  • 4 Bonus Points per eligible $1 USD spent
  • Standard tier Bonus Points on eligible purchases
  • Credit toward earning tier status and Milestone Rewards
  • Credit toward Brand Explorer Award on qualifying stays – earn a free night for every five unique Hyatt brands experienced
  • Award chart participation, with free nights starting at 12,000 points, off-peak
  • On-property benefits for elite members, where available

I do like seeing another Brand Explorer option being added. I need to start knocking off some of these all inclusive Hyatt brands at some point. Let's take a look at which resorts will be joining World of Hyatt come the end of March.

Hyatt Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts Partnership: ToP Thoughts

I don't know much about these new additions as of yet. Although, I do like the sound of some 12,000 all inclusive hotels though! I would assume that would be the Spain properties, since they have usually been the bargain properties with new partnerships in the past. It appears that Hyatt is still very focused on expanding their all inclusive reach. While the Bahia Principe Hotels & Resorts partnership took longer to finalize than expected, it does continue Hyatt's growth in the area. Let me know if you have any insight to these hotels in the Facebook Group.
