Prior/Ongoing World of Hyatt Promotions
While several promotions are ongoing, the most useful one to most folks is the bonus points available at Hyatt Place, Hyatt House and Hyatt Studios. We outlined this promotion last month and why it might assist status seekers, as you can earn up to 18,000 bonus points for staying up to 8 nights at these brands during the promotion period.
Hyatt 2025 Latin America Promotion
Here are the details of this new promotion:
- Register by October 14, 2025 to earn 3x points on all qualifying stays, beginning with your first stay at all participating hotels in Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America and South America.
- The promotion is 10x Bonus Points per eligible U.S. dollar spent during eligible stays (in addition to the 5x Bonus points you regularly earn).
- Qualifying stays between August 1, 2025 and October 31, 2025 are eligible.
- You must choose to earn Bonus Points to be eligible. Members choosing Bonus Miles (i.e. earning airline miles in lieu of Hyatt points) are not eligible.
- There is no cap of the number of Bonus Points you can earn.

Offer Terms
Here are notable terms for the Hyatt 2025 Latin America promotion:
- Only Eligible Stays completed after registration and between August 1 and October 31, 2025 count towards this promotion.
- Beginning after registration and during the Promotion Period, you will receive 3x Bonus Points beginning on your 1st eligible stay.
- There is no maximum number of Bonus Points you can earn under this promotion.
- Both cash rates and reward nights count for this promotion.
- Please allow two to four weeks after checkout for Bonus Points post to your World of Hyatt account.
- Hyatt reserves the right to alter or withdraw this promotion and bonus offer at any time for any reason without prior notice.
Hyatt 2025 Latin America Promotion: ToP Thoughts
This promotion is great for award travelers, especially for those headed to Mexico, the Caribbean, Central or South America. Beginning on your first stay after registration, you'll earn an extra 10 Bonus Points per dollar for all eligible spend at many different properties. If you have cash stays lined up, or you spend money at the restaurants and bars at your hotel, it's a nice win to get 15 total points per dollar (5 base points + 10 bonus points), plus any additional elite earnings.
