Priority Pass Restaurant Access

Few benefits have taken the beating that Priority Pass restaurant access has endured over the years. Amex removed it from a slew of its card years ago. The Capital One Venture X lost it in early 2023. Then Chase followed suit most recently. This all begs the question: which credit cards still offer restaurant access as part of their Priority Pass membership?

What is Priority Pass?

Priority Pass is a program that provides members with access to airport lounges around the world. Members can visit lounges regardless of the cabin they’re flying. Some forms of Priority Pass membership also offers access to additional services, including restaurants and airport hotels. But as we mentioned above, restaurant access is becoming less and less common.

Which Credit Cards Still Offer Priority Pass Restaurant Access?

The list of options has dwindled significantly. And unfortunately, one of the cards on this list has not been open for new applications or available for product changes for many years now.

Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite Card

This card continues to be the dark horse when it comes to Priority Pass access. Not only does it offer Priority Pass restaurants, but it also lets you gift a full Priority Pass membership to up to 4 people without adding them as an authorized user! For more information about the Premium Rewards Elite Priority Pass membership, check out this post.

Capital One Venture X Business

The business version of the Venture X continues to offer restaurant access with its Priority Pass membership even after the Venture X lost that perk. Unfortunately, employee cards do not receive their own Priority Pass membership, unlike authorized users with the Venture X.

Citi Prestige®

The Citi Prestige's version of Priority Pass membership still offers restaurant access (in addition to having a very generous guest policy). Sadly, the Citi Prestige is neither available for new applications nor as a product change option from other Citi cards.

U.S. Bank Altitude® Reserve Visa Infinite®

This card has limited access to Priority Pass lounges or restaurants, offering up to 8 free visits per year. The $400 annual fee is expensive for a card with limited perks.

U.S Business Altitude™ Connect World Elite Mastercard®

If you want access to Priority Pass restaurants for $0 annual fee, at least for the first year ($95 per year thereafter), this is your card. But be warned, it is limited to only 4 visits per year.

U.S. Bank Altitude® Connect Visa Signature®

Much like the business version of this card, you are limited to 4 Priority Pass visits per year. The annual fee of $95 is waived for the first year.

UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card

The UBS Visa Infinite Credit Card also offers Priority Pass restaurant benefits. However, this credit card comes with a $495 and no welcome offer, which is why we don't include it in our ranking of best cards with Priority Pass access.

Priority Pass Restaurant Access: ToP Thoughts

It might look like access to Priority Pass restaurants is going extinct. But for now, a very limited number of options remain available. We generally do not recommend opening a card just for one perk or benefit. But if you have been eyeing the Venture X Business or a Bank of America Premium Rewards Elite Card, then those cards might be moving closer to the ToP of your list.
