If you, like me, also struck out on purchasing 2026 World Cup tickets through the lottery, this could be your best chance to secure your attendance at the world's biggest soccer (excuse me, football) tournament.
Update 2/12/26: It May Be Possible To Earn Courtesy Points
A data point in the comments of this Doctor of Credit post from Bonus Vault:
Number: 800-436-7970 (for both CSP and CSR) (expect ~10mins of wait)
DP: I mentioned I tried to buy the tickets on Feb 10, but kept getting kicked out of the queue due to some technical errors. I spent 2 hrs trying and failing, and it was very frustrating.
The rep said they are aware of the tech issue and working with FIFA to fix it. Then she offered 5k points as a courtesy. After some simple verification, points are added to my balance as “courtesy adjustments”

How To Purchase World Cup Tickets Through Chase

The Chase FIFA World Cup 2026 ticket sale takes place through the official FIFA ticketing system. As such, you’ll need to create a FIFA account to view available tickets and complete your purchase. It’s best to do this before Feb. 10, so you’re ready.
Starting Feb. 10 at 12 p.m. ET, Sapphire cardholders can get tickets by visiting the Sapphire Experiences page on the Chase website. You'll also need to verify your eligibility for the Chase World Cup ticket sale by clicking “Access Tickets.” You’ll be prompted to verify your cardmember status by entering the card number for your eligible Chase Sapphire card.
Once you verify your eligible Chase Sapphire card, you’ll receive a link to the ticket sale page, where you’ll login to your FIFA account to view available tickets and complete your purchase. Eligible cardmember can receive up to two links, so Chase recommends saving or copying the link just in case.
From there, you'll be able to purchase match tickets. Chase cardholders will be allowed to purchase up to four tickets per match, for a total of 40 tickets for the whole tournament.
