Bank of America More Rewards Day

I wanted to alert you all to an interesting opportunity that is going on today only (11/9/23). It is call Bank of America More Rewards Day. This is a newer program Bank of America rolled out last year and they are bringing it back again today. It is a great opportunity to rack up some bonus miles, points or cash back with your Bank of America business or personal cards. The offer is automatically activated on your accounts.

Offer Details

Here is the explanation from Bank of America's promotion landing page:

On More Rewards Day, Bank of America consumer and small business credit cardholders with rewards cards will automatically earn bonus rewards of 2% cash back, two points per $1, or two miles per $1 spent on top of the rewards they typically earn. Credit cardholders who do not have a rewards product will earn bonus rewards through a statement credit equal to two percent cash back, on the first $2,500 in purchases made on November 9, 2023, per each unique account or each unique small business company. Bonus rewards will be automatically applied to their account, without the need to enroll.

So you will essentially get 2x / 2% more than you normally would on your card on up to $2500 in spend. So if the card earns 3% back at restaurants or gas stations you would now earn 5% on your card for the first $2500 in spend. The cool thing is this works for every single Bank of America card and each unique card has its own $2500 limit.

Bank of America More Rewards Day: ToP Thoughts

If you have a Bank of America card and need to make some bigger purchases today it may be worth considering dusting that thing off and giving it some swipes. I know people loved using this promotion to rack up some extra Alaska Airlines miles last year.

Let me know if you plan to take advantage of this offer over in the ToP Facebook Group.
