Alaska is offering Atmos Rewards members a faster way to get to Atmos Rewards Silver or Gold status through 2026 by flying to and from San Diego (SAN) on either Alaska or Hawaiian Airlines.
- Register for the promotion at this link between now and March 20, 2026.
- Fly 5 segments on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines flights between October 1, 2025 through March 31, 2026 to earn Atmos Silver status.
- Fly 10 segments on eligible Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines flights between October 1, 2025 and March 31, 2026 to earn Atmos Gold (Oneworld Sapphire) status.
- Members will receive Atmos Rewards status through December 31, 2026
- You must sign up for the promotion before your first qualifying flight.
Flights booked prior to registering for the promo should count, so long as they are meet the eligibility conditions (more on that below). Just make sure that you sign up before actually taking your first qualifying flight.
Which Flights Qualify For The Atmos Status Fast-Track Promo?
Before you start booking flights to San Diego, you'll want to make sure your flights actually qualify for this Atmos Rewards status fast-track promotion.
Qualifying flights must:
- Have San Diego as an origin or destination
- Be marketed and operated by Alaska Airlines, Hawaiian Airlines, or operated on behalf of Alaska by Horizon Air or SkyWest
- Be credited to the member’s Atmos Rewards account
The following are not eligible for this promotion:
- Codeshare flights
- Flights operated by Alaska Global Partners or Oneworld partners
- Award tickets
- Saver (X) fares
Those final two bullet points are key. Tickets booked with Atmos points will not count towards this promo. You'll also need to book main cabin tickets and above, as Saver fares (what Alaska calls basic economy) do not qualify.
