I located the offer on my Amex Business Platinum card and plan on using it to save my parents some money on an upcoming stay. Here are the details for this Airbnb Amex Offer:
- Earn 5,000 additional Membership Rewards® points (or $50) one-time after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $250 in one or more purchases online at airbnb.com or through the Airbnb mobile app by 5/5/2026.
This offer is coming in two forms. One, like shown above, offers 5,000 Membership Rewards points. The other is a $50 credit. Both require the person to spend at least $250 on one or more Airbnb stays. That should be pretty easy for anyone to do. If you value Membership Rewards points at 1.5 cents each, that is up to 30% off your next booking!
Offer Terms
Here are some notable terms for the Airbnb Amex Offer:
- Enrollment is limited.
- Offer valid online only at US website airbnb.com or through the Airbnb mobile app.
- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
- Eligible Card Members will earn 5,000 additional Membership Rewards® points (or $50) on qualifying purchases on their eligible Card.
- Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.
- Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.
- Any Membership Rewards® points received through this offer are in addition to the Membership Rewards® points normally received for purchases charged to your Card. (Or cashback / other point currency)
- Additional Membership Rewards® points should be credited to your program account within 90-days after 5/5/2026, provided that American Express receives information from the merchant about your qualifying purchase.
You will want to add this offer to your American Express card as soon as you see it. I am sure their quota will fill up quickly on this one.
Airbnb Amex Offer: ToP Thoughts
This Airbnb Amex Offer will likely be one of the better Amex Offers for the year, and we are only getting started with 2026. The reward, especially when compared to the spending requirement, is better than expected. I would have thought the spending requirement would have been $500 for this kind of pay off.
