New Amex Airline Offers
If you have spending on cash airfare (or taxes and fees on award fares!) coming up soon, check your Amex accounts. A new month means new targeted Amex offers. I spotted offers for Air France–KLM and Etihad Airways on some of my cards, and there are others floating around too. Add these to your cards sooner rather than later, since they have enrollment limits. Let’s take a look at the terms of the new Amex airline offers.
Air France–KLM Offer
The first of the new Amex airline offers to check for brings savings on Air France–KLM flights:
- Earn $150 back after spending $1,500 or more through one or more qualifying purchases.
- Note: Targeted offer amounts may vary.
- Book directly through airfrance.us, KLM.com or the US mobile app.
- Flights must be marketed by Air France or KLM, originate in the United States and be charged in USD.
- Exclusions: Travel agencies, third-party booking sites, hotels, car rentals and mileage purchases don’t qualify. See terms for full list of exclusions.
- The offer expires December 15, 2026.
Etihad Airways Offer
Another of the new Amex airline offers to look for is this deal for Etihad Airways:
- Earn $200 back after spending $1,000 or more through one or more qualifying flight purchases.
- Note: Targeted offer amounts may vary.
- Book directly through etihad.com or the Etihad Airways app.
- Flights must be marketed by Etihad Airways, originate in the United States and be charged in USD.
- Bookings must be paid for by December 31, 2026, although travel may occur afterward.
- Exclusions: Reservations through third parties, phone bookings and airport ticket offices. See terms for full list of exclusions.
- The offer expires December 31, 2026.
Other Offers
Here are some other existing or new Amex airline offers to check your account for:
- Airline offer: Earn $200 back after spending $900 or more in one or more qualifying purchases of flights booked directly with airlines. Expires February 28, 2027.
- Alaska and Hawaiian offer: Earn $80 back after spending $400 or more in one or more qualifying purchases of flight reservations online at alaskaair.com, hawaiianairlines.com or via the Alaska Hawaiian app. Previously was set to expire but has been extended to December 31, 2026. Read more here.
- Lufthansa Group offer: Earn $200 back when you spend $1,000 or more in one or more qualifying purchases on select Lufthansa Group flights. Flights must be booked via Amex Travel for this offer. Previously was set to expire but has been extended to November 22, 2026.
New Amex Airline Offers: ToP Thoughts
Check your Amex cards! These offers are a great way to save up to 10-20% (or more) on airfare. Though the spending requirements can be steep in some cases, these could work nicely if you are paying for taxes and fees on multiple business class award seats.
