More SkyMiles, incoming. Delta Air Lines just dropped a new Go Beyond the Summer promotion—and it can net you anywhere from 2x to 16x bonus miles on purchases from Delta and its travel partners. Spend on flights, hotels, rental cars, Airbnb Experiences and more to bank some bonus miles for your next trip. Here's how to take advantage of the new Delta summer promo.
Promotion Categories
There are several spending categories for the new Delta summer promo, which include:
2x miles on flights
Double your normal SkyMiles earning rate based on your membership tier when you enroll, book and travel one of the qualifying retail fares listed on the offer landing page. Eligible flights must originate from an airport within the 50 United States. Depending on your departure airport, destinations may include a range of domestic and international spots like Riyadh, Seoul, Honolulu, Sydney, Auckland, Rome, Paris, Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Shanghai, Cancun and Punta Cana. Flights must be flown in Delta Main Classic or Delta Main Extra. Must book by July 23, 2026. Eligible travel periods vary by location. Input your preferred origin on the landing page to populate the qualifying flights. Offers may be targeted.
4-16x miles on rental cars
Earn elevated rates for Hertz and select rental partners through Delta Cars, excluding taxes, fees and mileage redemption bookings. Terms apply. Must book by Aug. 6, 2026, for travel dates from July 21, 2026, through March 31, 2027. Mileage earned for Hertz car rentals are calculated depending on your Medallion Status, while other rates vary by brand as detailed in the full offer terms.
4x miles on Delta Stays
Earn 4x bonus miles on hotel reservations via Delta Stays, excluding taxes, fees, mileage redemption bookings, and vouchers or discount codes. Some eligible properties also participate in VIP Access, which may include perks like room upgrades or property credits. Must book by Aug. 6, 2026, for travel dates from July 21, 2026, through March 31, 2027. While we typically caution against travel portal bookings, these hotel offers may be particularly useful for those with Delta Stays credits to burn from their American Express co-branded Delta cards.
2,000 bonus miles on Airbnb Experiences + Services
Connect your Delta account to Airbnb to earn the standard 3x miles offered through the partnership, plus a one-time bonus of 2,000 bonus miles for the first qualifying booking per account, on a qualifying Airbnb Experience or Service of $50 or more. Must book by Aug. 6, 2026, for services through March 31, 2027. Excludes discounts, coupons, incentives, offers, taxes and fees. The 2,000 bonus miles will be awarded after the trip is completed. Reminder that when connecting your Delta account, you must book within 10 days of connecting—or else relink your account.
Up to 5x on gift cards
Earn 2–5x bonus miles (depending on Medallion Status as noted in the offer terms) when purchasing $300 or more in Delta Gift Cards. Must purchase by Aug. 6, 2026.
