A few weeks ago there was a refresh on the offers for the British Airways, Iberia and Aer Lingus cards for 85,000 miles. That was a nice little bump from the cards' standard offers, but it appears you can do better than that. At least for one of them, the British Airways Visa Signature card. Even though these cards usually go in lockstep with their offers, it appears that the British Airways card is the only one with an increased 100K offer. As always, we wanted to alert you to the best offers out there even when it is not our links. Offer Details
Here are the details for the British Airways 100K offer:
- Earn 100,000 Avios after you spend $7,500 on purchases within the first six months of account opening.
- This card has a $95 annual fee that is NOT waived.

This is an increase of 15,000 points from the other public offer currently available. It should be noted that the 85K offer does come with $2,500 less in required minimum spend though. Having said that, we think the increased British Airways 100K offer is better for most everyone since it gives you 6 months to complete the spend.
Card Earning Structure
Here is what you would earn on your way to getting the British Airways 100K offer and beyond:
- 3 Avios for every $1 spent on British Airways flight purchases
- 2 Avios for every $1 spent on hotel accommodations booked directly with the hotel

British Airways 100K Offer: ToP Thoughts
This British Airways 100K offer is something worth considering for many. While Avios isn't quite the program it used to be, there is still a lot of meat left on the proverbial bone. That is especially true if you know how to move Avios around among the participating airlines to take advantage of their sweet spots. We think this is the best British Airways card offer available right now, even if it requires a little bit more spend.
