There is a new Alaska Amex Offer that could save you up to 20% on your next flight. While the backdoor transfer from Membership Rewards to Alaska may have ended, this is another way to use American Express to save with Alaska. At least on Alaska's own metal, which will make it less useful for many overall. Offer Details
The details for this Alaska Amex Offer are as follows:
- Earn a one-time $60 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $300 in one or more purchases on flight reservations online at alaskaair.com or through the Alaska Airlines app by 12/30/2025.
- Flights must originate in the US and be charged in US Dollars
This offer, like all Amex Offers, is targeted and may not be showing on your card(s). If you see it be sure to add it right away because they will pull offers early. Also, you can only add the offer to one card, so be sure to pick one that earns bonus points on airfare. At least if you see it on multiple cards.
Offer Terms
Here are some notable terms of the Alaska Amex Offer:
- Valid only on purchases made directly at US website alaskaair.com or through the U.S. Alaska Airlines app.
- Flights must originate in the U.S., including U.S. territories and purchases must be in U.S. dollars to qualify.
- Offer valid only for purchases where Alaska Airlines is the merchant of record, such as airfare, fare upgrades, seat selection fees and baggage fees.
- Excludes in flight spend, flights booked through third parties and electronic gift cards.
- Excludes hotel, car services, packages and travel insurance purchased through the Alaska Air website.
- Not valid on Alaska trips, Company store, uniform purchases, Alaska Lounge membership, Alaska Lounge merchandise and day passes, purchase of points/miles, Alaska Air Cargo, Corporate managed travel, Alaska Airlines Freight and Alaska Lounges/Boardrooms at various locations.
- Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars.
- Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant. Offer not valid on purchases made using third parties, such as resellers, delivery services, or other intermediaries.
Alaska Amex Offer: ToP Thoughts
I think this Alaska Amex Offer could be a useful deal for people that live on the West Coast. Alaska's route map just isn't super useful to people that live on the East Coats or in the Midwest etc. Hopefully several of you can make this work, since getting up to 20% off a flight is a pretty great deal.
