2.5X Chase Points Boost Properties
The Edit just got some new sweet spots. Chase has announced 2.5X Points Boost redemptions for select properties that are part of its premium hotel program. This marks the highest-ever Points Boost rate. Mixing Points Boost with The Edit credits is also one of our favorite ways to knock out the annual perks on the Chase Sapphire Reserve and the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business cards. Depending on rates and availability, there's a chance to get some strong value here. Let's take a look at the 2.5X Chase Points Boost properties.

What is Chase Points Boost?
Chase launched The Points Boost feature last summer, offered to premium cardholders on select flights and hotels booked through Chase Travel. The rollout complemented the refresh of the Chase Sapphire Reserve card and the debut of the Chase Sapphire Reserve for Business card. Boosted points are normally worth from 1.25 up to 2 cents per point. (Prior to that, Chase cardholders could make all Chase Travel bookings for flat rates of 1.25 or 1.5 cents per point, depending on which card they held. You can read all about the changes that happened last year here.) Points Boost offers are marked with a rocket icon and Points Boost tag, indicating both the promotional and standard rates. The 2.5X Chase Points Boost properties are distinguished the same way.

Which Properties Are Eligible For The 2.5X Points Boost?
The 2.5X Chase Points Boost properties are all named in Chase's “26 Trips to Take in 2026” campaign. (But not every hotel that's part of that list is included in the 2.5X Points Boost.) It's a collection of luxe hotels scattered across buzzy destinations like Osaka, Nice and Park City:
- Four Seasons Hotel Osaka — Osaka, Japan
- Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado — Santa Fe, NM
- Gardena Grodnerhof Hotel — Italian Dolomites
- Grand Hyatt Deer Valley — Park City, UT
- Hotel du Couvent, a Luxury Collection Hotel — Nice, France
- InterContinental Dominica Cabrits Resort & Spa — Dominica
- Salterra, a Luxury Collection Resort & Spa — South Caicos
- Nobu Hotel San Sebastian — Basque Country, Spain
- The Ritz-Carlton, Portland — Portland, OR
- Sofitel Legend The Grand Amsterdam — Amsterdam, Netherlands
- The Surrey, A Corinthia Hotel — New York City, NY
I don't see an expiration listed for this promotion, so I ran searches on a couple of these properties. It looks like the 2.5X rate extends into bookings as far out as next year. Chase's standard terms and conditions apply, including “Points Boost offers are promotional and are refreshed periodically. Offers may change with the refresh. Travel inventory is subject to availability.”

Special Treatment With The Edit
Because these are all part of Chase's luxury hotel program, you'll also get these extra perks when you book one of the 2.5X Chase Points Boost properties:
- $100 property credit (dining, spa, or other activities) per stay
- Early check-in, when available
- Room upgrade, when available
- Daily breakfast for two
- Late check-out, when available
- Complimentary wi-fi
- Welcome amenity (Listed on some hotel bookings but not on the benefits page)

2.5X Chase Points Boost Properties: ToP Thoughts
This is a great reminder to get cranking on using your credits for The Edit this year. I wasn't personally looking at any of the 2.5X Chase Points Boost properties before this announcement, but they just got a whole lot more enticing. As always, you'll want to calculate the cpp you could get from booking outright with the hotel brands, but I suspect you can get outsize value with many of these. Would you book any of these hotels? Tell us in the comments over in the ToP Facebook Group.
